Hey guys, I remember there being some Jakks Pacific prototypes that never got released, but I can't find any pictures of them anymore, save for this un-zoomable picture.  Was wondering if anyone could help me out though. I remember there being some 5 inch prototypes, one being Frieza with a more proportionately sized head, and he came with his floating chair. |

Here is the Frieza figure at the Toy Fair 2005 display.  Here is a better shot of the figure and the hover chair.  Some close ups of the Oozaru    Unreleased Teen Goten  Unreleased Android 8. It is the IF Labs sculpt, but with 'Path to Power' colors  |

I've seen all of those except Android 8! Wow. What a group of figures to never get the release. The Oozaru's have hideous "child-like" ape faces, but holy moly, they were huge. I never realized it, but the MC Piccolo next to them is 8 inches, no? So the Oozaru's must have been at least 13 inches like the Banpresto ones, but with articulation  ....I wonder where those protos are now. The Teen Goten was cool too, but they might have used Gohan's basketball legs, so probably a good thing they didn't. |

Adrenaline I never noticed that either...no wonder the Oozarus never came out, they must have been huge.

The faces on those Oozarus are horrible, but the size of them! They had to be enormous.

damn shame, the oozaru kinda sucks, but id rather get that than all the other giant ape figures. that frieza too, is awesome, wish they came in with his hover chair. and that goten would have made a good yamcha custom. they should have partnered it with the trunks end of Z version.

The arms on the Goten look similar to the battle damaged Spirit Bomb Goku figure's. I bet Jakks kind of customized that to produce him. Would have been nice if they made him even though he looks incredibly too tall. The boots are cool, I like that they are actually sculpted.

That teen Goten and Android 8 are killer! I'd love to own those.
The Oozarus look like poop, though. Big piles of poop, but poop nonetheless. In the hands of a customizer, though, they could've looked great!

Was wondering where the actual prototype is now, but also would like to know why they changed the head size. |
