I think if a CC company or a bank come across fraud they can charge back anything, am I right? Do you think their account got compromised due to fraud somehow?

highly unlikely, this purchase was made mid january and the idiot made offers on the item (i had it at $200 and they got it for $120)
I am going to find out how to disallow credit card payments, i dont care if it cost me business because this is BULL

Buyers got 180 (sometimes 160) days to file CC claims. Never go by Paypal 45 day. That is just if they paid with anything but a CC. However, for only fraud cases they can use Chargebacks. Rarely you will hear of a person making a CC claim for not as described or non receipt as Paypal handles that. In the case that Paypal rules in favor of the seller, then many frustrated buyers go to their banks as last recourse. And by the way, if you have proof of shipping and tracking, which can show the address or zip of the CONFIRMED address provided by Paypal, you are safe from Chargebacks according to Paypal policy. Pretty much if you can proof that you shipped to where they said, Paypal eats the chargeback for you.

That sucks king. They got the item? Sounds like a con.

they shouldn't be able to claim money back until the item was returned.

they shouldn't be able to claim money back until the item was returned. Exactly what I think.

I probably have the receipt somewhere but the only thing it will say is that i shipped something to her postal code as i never bother with tracking (1 in 50 items being screwed out of isnt worth the hassle)
and i'm pretty sure it was a con, the email she provided isnt even legit and she doesnt reply to text messages (her number IS a cell phone and a quick google search proves its her and her number)

I got screwed over selling my SS4 figures because I didn't use tracking. Now I use it every time.

Did you pack it well? I haven't had a person from a foreign country mess with me. Even people from Spain (who users on DBT would complain about getting their money back and stealing figures). Maybe they do it because you didn't use bubble wrap or pack it well? Was it just a hundred dollar box of stuff that ended up scratched up?

yeah it was packed well. barely international (sent to USA) and they are claiming the purchase was made without consent (like stolen credit card) so that wouldnt be bad packaging

Why are they going through their credit card instead of ebay? If through ebay they'd get their money back and you'd get the figures back even if you had to pay the shipping.

I told you it was probably fraud related

eBay and paypal only help for 45days, beyond that its at the credit card issuers discretion as to how long (most credit companies say 3 months)
