Awesome I'm good with computers, but as you can see I still have a lot to learn, especially with building gaming pcs and whatnot. If I got a watercooler, I could overclock at 5ghz with np?

I personally wouldn't try 5ghz on an all in one water cooling system. You would most likely be able to hit 4.5ghz though. You can always try to hit 5ghz if you wanted, by upping the vcore, but I don't think it would be super stable. But I do think you would hit 4.5ghz relatively easy with an h100.

What cooling system would you recommend for a 5ghz+ overclock? I don't mind spending a little bit more Water cooling is one thing I've never really looked into.

You know, looking at the 4770k, they run pretty hot. Most people weren't able to get a stable 5ghz, unless they put the vcore at an unsafe level. Even with a custom watercooling setup, it was running around 80c when under load. A lot of people have had success at 4.7ghz though. I would shoot for that. As for the watercooling setup, what kind of case do you have?

4.7ghz sounds good, better safe than sorry I have a Mid Tower, but to be more specific it's this case.

Looks like you can fit a 2x120mm radiator up at the top of that without having to modify anything. It also depends on if you care about fan noise. For me, I like low noise, so I got the quietest fans I could find, and then I put them on a radiator that works better with lower RPM fans(Has a lower Fins per Inch). The CPU block would be either an HK Supreme, or XSPC Raystorm waterblock. Plus you also need the pump and the reservoir. Depending on your price range, you would spend about $400 on a customer watercooling setup. Plus you have to make sure you properly maintain it by draining it every 6 months or so. Depending on your usage. The latest coolant that I have been using has allowed me to go up to 12 months without worrying about it.

If you can give me your budget, I can piece together a kit that would be great for you. Also, if you are in the states, I highly recommend ordering from Performance-PCs.com. You can get 5.5% off your entire order by using the coupon code OCN55, and the shipping is reasonable too

I don't really have a budget, I always go for quality, which usually means it's gonna be expensive anyways. If you can piece up a good kit for me I'd definitely like to see it.

Quality is very important. So here is the list: This is everything you need to put it all together and go. You can change out the Mayhem dye color for something that suits you better. I didn't know where you lived, but they are in Florida, so I put a California city to get the highest shipping rate. Obviously it will be different, but with the discount its right around $347 shipped. Also, when you get the parts, you will want to put everything together, and then flush the system. Flushing out the radiator is very important, but we can talk about that when you are putting it together
