With last year's outing, we didn't see release dates for the vast majority of what they ended up displaying. For example Champa, Vados, Kid Goku, Goku with Angel Wings, SSj3 Vegeta, etc.
I REALLY hope every figure they have shown comes out though! Even the Kaioken Goku looks pretty good to me.
But Nappa, oh Nappa! I have to go lay down. ( Yes he is a little small, but my hope is rekindled )

Minor complaint, I'm disappointed SS4 Goku wasn't shown off. I have a feeling, or at least hoping, that he's going under quite a lot of retooling to incorporate a lot of the new updated quality and articulation. Take a mixture of Tien's lower half, his shoulders, Super Saiyan 3 Goku's arms, and a newer chest sculpt...perfection. so gotenks should include his non super saiyan head as well ... they should make it a norm, to include both normal and ssj mode in every saiyan characters And the SSJ3 head should be included too, but it's not gonna happen.. I would rather Super Saiyan 3 Gotenks be its own release. Separate releases will allow for more accessories. I don't see that as a bad thing though. The Western Market needs to be introduced to Dragon Ball Super characters in a dubbed version before Tamashii Nations releases a product in one of their Character Categories. So it's understandable why Champa and Vados weren't released. The other prototypes, most of which were Goku and Super Saiyan 3 Vegeta, were great but none of them incorporated any of the new updated quality and articulation. I think it's best they weren't released this past year so they're allowed to be given the same treatment that this year's prototypes have. Kid Goku would have been a great release but I did hear a rumor of him being retooled. I'd really like to see that revealed or even announced at some point in the foreseeable future though. |

Here's hoping we see that same color for the gi of that SSj3 Goku. That would really help with our 2.0 Ultimate Gohan customs. If we're lucky, maybe the 2.0 Goku body will break the cycle of incompatibility with the older bodies.

Extremely disappointed that we're not getting a 2.0 Goku yet. Like really... Kaioken Goku with the old mold? It looks terrible with those knee joints showing.

Is everyone sure that that's a new Goku? I was thinking maybe it's the SDCC Goku with some heavy red lighting.

It's the SDCC/Galeria Exclusive repainted. I'm not sure why people are putting too much thought into it. Tamashii Nations already revealed a Goku 2.0 body with the Super Saiyan 3 Goku prototype. Expect that to be the body mold for most Goku releases in the foreseeable future.

Ugghhh. I REALLY hope they do not do this. On smaller scale figures, this does not work well and the rubber "skin" is just asking for trouble. I have had a few 6" figures that tried this. The "skin" is prone to drying out, cracking, creasing, and does not hold poses that well. I can just imagine this would push prices up even higher. $50+ for the new figures is getting too much for me with the higher amount of releases each year, too. Just stick with the new 2.0 bodies. |

I tend to agree. I'm interested to see what they look like, but I really don't want them to be the new standard.

If you lool close, it looks more like the roshi logo than the "Go" one which is on the SDCC figure - likely still just a re-paint of the SDCC one though. With that said I seem to recall them using a 3rd-party custom Kaioken goku at an event (in a big display) a while ago so could it just be the same one again? Either way I doubt it'll get released (at least not like that), just something fancy to show off their effect parts |

My, how far this line has come. Tien, Yamcha, a new Goku mold, a new Nappa, and even a Gotenks. What all have I missed?
