Anyone think they'll make an Arlian version out of this 2.0 Vegeta? Possibly, I'm actually struggling to think of anything they can do for the SDCC figure this year as they haven't released enough new figures to repaint... With it happening in July it's too early for a Vegeta/Nappa repaint (though I'm willing to bet it'll be one of those next year) and everything else we've got lately has just been 2.0 figures and Premium Colours. The only real exceptions are the Xenoverse pair and 2.0 Trunks but they really aren't well suited for repaints... Edit: forgot Trunks.

Hmm now that you mention it, what could they possibly have as an event exclusive this year? My guess is either an anime version of Ultimate Gohan or a Namek Vegeta (1st outfit). If they do go with Namek Vegeta, question is if they'll use the 2.0 body or the old one? They're kinda out of repaints at this point since everything we have so far is anime accurate so it's gonna be an interesting choice whatever they end up doing

They're kinda out of repaints at this point since everything we have so far is anime accurate so it's gonna be an interesting choice whatever they end up doing I'm thinking that Namek Vegeta will not be a SDCC exclusive and here's why: We are getting PCE releases of extremely expensive DBZ SH Figuarts. Scouter Vegeta 2.0 is releasing in July, PCE Perfect Cell is coming out this month, and a potential SSJ3 Goku 2.0 on the horizon. There is one figure not in this list: Final Form Frieza! Although the figure is excellent, it does have its flaws. The figure was released directly before Scouter Vegeta, meaning it could be announced in the future for late 2018, possibly. Namek Vegeta would go well with that. They would not need to change the figure too much, keep the same serious, smirk and yelling faces, maybe add a crying face. It would be a good double release. I'm predicting that Tien and Yamcha will be announced for October, November, or December release. Then, hoping we get Buu Saga figures like the two Buus and Gotenks. One can wish...

Imo Frieza doesn't need any type of repaint. He's anime accurate as is so there's not really much they could do with him. Only thing I can think of is making him matte color and adding an extra head but even that isn't enough to justify it tbh. He is a possibility though albeit a small one

Can't see if there's a torso articulation ?! There is, you can see the line of it here...

SSJ4 is probably being retooled to a 2.0 design and same goes for the two Buu figures from a while back. I say we'll see them sometime next year Anyone think they'll make an Arlian version out of this 2.0 Vegeta? I'm very hopeful that Super Saiyan 4 Goku has gone through tremendous updates and I can't wait to see his newest prototype. When that will happen, I'm not sure. I was surprised Tamashii Nations announced/scheduled the Figuarts Zero EX version though. (For both Super Saiyan 4 Goku and Super Buu actually.) At some point in the line's future, I honestly wouldn't mind an updated Final Form Frieza whose build is similar to the Golden Frieza release. Can't see if there's a torso articulation ?! There is, you can see the line of it here... I was very happy to see this on the newest prototype. That was one of my very few complaints about the prototype revealed at Tamashii Nations event back in October. Very nicely done.

Wow, I desperately hope that Nappa is anime colors when he is released! In manga colors or Arlian colors or whatever those are, he looks like a super beefy Raditz with Nappa's head. Those are the colors that have been used for Nappa's Saiyan armor lately. He has them in Xenoverse/2 and Dragon Ball Heroes. He actually uses the yellow and blue armor in XV2 @4:40

Can't see if there's a torso articulation ?! There is, you can see the line of it here... ' Glad to see the torso articulation. I wonder if the armor will be detachable. It would not be very hard to do and it would make many people purchase the figure. People would be able to recreate the "over (8)000" scene accurately with Vegeta crushing the scouter and Nappa having that face we saw on the prototype years ago.

From what I've seen, those two figures looked pretty good for a model kit. The SHF SSJ4 Goku we saw back in March looked about ready to go and every figure in that display was released already or was released later that year. Why Tamashii keeps showing that prototype off only to disappoint baffles me.

It wouldn't be that difficult but it wouldn't give Tamashii Nations another Nappa release which is what they're hoping for if his sales do well. In hindsight, it's better than it wasn't released either in the 1st or 2nd revealed prototype stages. I'm sure the reveal of the updates will be very pleasing to the collectors. Luckily, for Super Saiyan 4 Goku fans such as myself, they're releasing the Figuarts Zero EX which was a huge surprise in July at SDCC. I've heard speculation that Tamashii Nations is using that release to determine when to release the S.H. Figuarts version but I don't know how credible that speculation is.
