Dang I'll have to pass on the God Goku. One of the major features of the form is for Goku to look like a teen version of himself. The first prototype looked accurate but this one is way off. And $53 for an inaccurate figure just won't do.
Also hate I might have to pass on SS3 Goku if they keep the dark shading around his crotch which looks terrible. I just don't understand a lot of the choices they are making on some of these figures. I do appreciate all the new characters they are releasing though. But once again way too many saiyans!

Have faith! Hopefully they will announce Tien and Yamcha release dates on the June or July calendar, as well as a SSJ4 Goku! He is a Saiyan, but someone a lot of people have wanted for a long time.

I personally don't think Yamcha and/or Tien will ever get released. I've looked at the Shonen Jump calendar, but there's nothing for those two anywhere.

Unless I'm mistaken doesn't the calendar update on the 1st? If you mean the May update, obviously they won't be there, we just got SSG Goku and Shenron announced... I very much doubt they'll *never* be released though, we've seen two different versions of prototypes for both characters now. I think it's safe to assume that they're coming, Tamashii are probably just trying to nail down exactly what look to go with and how to do it (i.e. accessories, regular Vs exclusive, etc).

Just be patient, they'll be released Absolutely. People have waited years for Nappa and he is finally coming out in July. Yamcha and Tien will come in due time. I would rather have a top quality figure that takes a lot of time to finish than a rushed figure released super early.

Seriously, just cuz a figure is shown and isn't announced .2 seconds after people freak out. Not directed at anyone in particular just what I see a lot in the community. They invest resources to these figures and gauge interest and then release according to strategic timing.

Just because they're not on the calendar doesn't mean they won't be released. Nappa wasn't on the calendar for 4 years, but he's finally being released. Yamcha and Tien are in better shape then Nappa was back then, we saw one Nappa prototype, then nothing for years. At least Yamcha and Tien, we've already seen 2 prototypes within a few months. They'll be here soon.

Question: will Nappa or Vegeta end up for sale at Barnes & Noble? Or do I need to buy them online? I never saw Whis at B&N.

I'm not worried about Tien & Yamcha. Not only have they repeatedly been shown, but they've shown different variations. Clearly they want to see what people would prefer between the Saiyan and Cell Games versions. Fall or Winter seems likely.

Shonen calendar updates around 9pm eastern time on the last day of each month (technically updates on the 1st in Japan). Do not worry, Tien and Yamaha are coming.

They sell SH Figuarts for sale.

Thanks for the heads up. I actually really prefer to order direct from Japan though. Always have. Costs about they same and I typically get them quicker. Scoured the net and finally managed to find one through Rakuten Global for 4,800 yen. Not as cheap as Nippon Yassan, but at least I got it! I also just ordered Nappa from NY. Tamashii webshop pre-orders close tomorrow (22nd May) so expecting available units to dry up over the coming days! Hey I am new to collecting DBZ sh figuarts I just bought my first figure , I want to know will ssj 3 goku get restocked when it is released according to your previous experiences, because I missed on preorder. Check out prodigys links above. Still available from US stores.

Another idea for the SDCC exclusive...SSB Goku with an orange gi (anime accurate) and glossy hair like Vegeta's. A PC SSB Goku Or what about a SSB Kaioken Goku? It would technically just be a repaint.
