angelo2113 he uses the Kame/Turtle symbol in the Saiyan saga as well as in Cell Games. He uses the Kaio symbol in the androids saga but he goes back to using the Turtle symbol at Cell Games

I knew Tamashii Nations had a prototype with the King Kai symbol so they're definitely going to have 2 separate releases since they're more than likely pairing him up with Tien. |

Good eye, so I guess there will be two separate releases. I could see the Saiyan Saga one coming with a Saibaman and the Android Saga one coming with Puar

That would be the ideal accessories. I was thinking Tamashii Nations could do a pack of Saibamen but the only significant one was the one that killed Yamcha. Cell Jrs may have a better chance of being released in packs some day.

Nice for them to confirm Yamcha. Tamashii really know how to drag this out. Puttiing 3 months between the most hyped releases and dropping other figures in between to keep the interest there for them to sell.
They know many collectors saw Nappa, Yamcha and Tien as the end game. (Particularly those who aren't massive Buu Saga fans). There was no way they were going to release them together. I expect another 3 months until Tien. They'll do Kid Goku and Gotenks/Majin Vegeta first.

One a side note, i'll be really gutted if we only get long haired Yamcha and shirtless Tien........
I really prefered the original sculpts, but you can tell these were only prototypes. I'm worried we'll never see them again. Like armourless Nappa or Future Trunks Ascended Saiyan Hair. That will suck.
When even Piccolo hasn't had a second release, what chance do these characters have?

When thinking about the interview with Newman and how they wanted to spread it over several years and then looking at the pace they are releasing this year, I honestly don't know what to think about the future of the line.
Will there be a large variety ? Different outfits/haircuts for characters like Tien, Yamcha, etc ?
I know there are still a lot of unreleased characters but still, the interest of the majority of collectors will lower once we had all the saiyans, the main bad guys from different sagas. Of course this is just a speculation.

They've heard our pleas for characters and are well aware of both the positive and negative feedback we've been giving. Armor-less Nappa was years ago and the company has changed considerably since then. To keep the like going they have to space things out and not just release everything all at once. We will all get our favorite characters in due time. Also there's no reason why they wouldn't release the other Yamcha and Tien. Just gotta be patient. As for Piccolo they will release a 2.0 but with collecting it's all about strategy and time. The Dragon Ball universe has many characters and variations of said characters. From repaints to battle damaged figures and multiple forms of villains, they have plenty to work with for the upcoming years. |

Maybe an unpopular opinion, but I would rather see characters that haven't been done yet rather than variations of minor characters like Yamcha. I'm fine with one version of him.

I'd like to see the other forms of Freeza & Cell too along with any form of Majin Boo. Plus characters from Super like Goku Black & Zamasu.

Short hair might show up with it (if we're insanely lucky) or as a seperate figure later down the line as others have suggested, personally I think they just canned the short-hair/Android saga version when they updated the articulation but I'd love to be proven wrong. |
