If I’m not mistaken the only figures that have been recently displayed that don’t have release dates are only Majin and Gotenks. They’ll come out for sure, it’s just that there are factors that we may not know of that are delaying them. Perhaps they’re still working on them due to feedback. They’ve had a good track record lately of releasing prototypes. It’s not like it was before, they’ve clearly learned from their mistakes Yes, but so does Frieza. And people here told me that many figures in recent past have been canceled for no reason: Goku 4, Champa, Bootenks, etc...

And people here told me that many figures in recent past have been canceled for no reason: Goku 4, Champa, Bootenks, etc... In the past, yes they were infamous for trolling us with marvelous prototypes and then not releasing them. Things have changed a lot since then and practically every older figure has had some kind of re-release be it PC or 2.0. They’re not nearly as lazy and trollish as they used to be which I think is largely due to all the negative feedback they received which caused them to become better overall. In the modern Tamashii era, when they show prototypes they intend to release them. For now all we have is Majin Vegeta, Gotenks, and Roshi. That’s not bad compared to how it was back in the day. Point is I wouldn’t worry that these figures won’t be released. Just because they’re not scheduled as soon as they’re shown doesn’t mean all hope is gone. They know collectors want them and are trying to turn things around. The future is looking bright for this line 👍🏼

Glad I will have a Frieza!
Wow Master Roshi!!! Only kid krillin to add!
I think they are tweaking Majin Vegeta s hair. The demand is too high and I think they have received a lot of comments on the hair

A Roshi repaint in black with Jackie Chun heads would be a great way to get some extra mileage out of the mold, too...

Awesome birthday news! Frieza 2.0 and a Master Roshi prototype! Now all we need is a Piccolo Daimao after Gotenks, Majeta, SSJ4 Goku and a Buu or two.

Roshi is awesome. Can't wait for that.
Frieza is disappointing. OG is going for $200, and now like Perfect Cell the price will drop severely.

It sucks they’re a larger scale than the rest of the line but damn does Roshi look on point. Have a feeling the next DB release after him will either be Kid Krillin or Bulma I honestly have no idea why Tamashii is doing that. They even mentioned that on their Instagram post.

Scale is not a strong point for Dragon Ball. Anyway, I think he's too big. Here are some examples:

Maybe they wanna produce these figures in larger scale to sell them at a higher price? As a collector, that bothers me. Kid Goku is already bigger, now Master Roshi... I'd like to display them with the rest of the line, like they were the same, damn.

Irwin or Jakks did the same exact thing with their DB line. I remember the DB line was much bigger than the DBZ figures. I had the Bulma & Roshi figures.

It’s really a bummer 😕 Scale didn't bother me that much with Mirai Trunks (smaller), Cell (smaller), A16 (smaller), Nappa (smaller), and so on. But Master Roshi is just too big, not only in height, but in all the proportions. Bad move, Tamashii. Bad move.

At a higher price point but also keeping the product up to recent quality standards. If the product was of accurate size compared to the rest of the line, it would require much smaller sculpting, molding, joints, and a longer production process which is very time consuming. It may have been the easier business decision for Tamashii but, while sacrificing accurate scaling, it may also be the better decision for the collectors as well.
