Majin Buu, and Bulma were JUST shown. Unlike in previous years, Tamashii has been good about releasing figures they have shown... eventually. If anything, this gives me concerns about Gotenks... he's been prototyped for FAR longer than Goku, yet no release? Hrm.
That said, I am sorta happy that this listing does give me a bit of a breather. I was already planning on skipping Freeza and probably Goku (I own both the originals, and while I LIKE the new Goku, it's not worth the money when I own a perfectly good one... especially when I prefer the Buu Saga outfit) and as cool as Majin Vegeta is, he doesn't have a place in my display.

I do have Krilin yet, thereby, i won't buy a new one, unless he would come from the Saiyan period, wich might have my interest. Majin Vegeta has the same concern for me: no one to display with. He definitely needs big boo to get my purchase. |

Yeah, just to clear up the whole Majin Boo July rumour, it turns out there was never any source or confirmation. Just some dude speculating on his blog. In fact, on MFC it has always been listed as August, which is usually a more credible source: myfigurecollection.net/item/647427 |

I wonder if we'll get anything else in 2018! You mean this could be it yet? We have namel Goku for june if my recollections are correct. But following what you've just said with Gotenks and Bulma, we would still have two free months to fill. And let's not forget we might have two figures being released the same months Yeah, if we get Buu, Gotenks and Bulma in Aug, Sep and Oct that would leave Nov and Dec free. Best case scenario we could see some double releases, but worst case we could get a skipped month and only get one more in 2018. Hmmm, that makes me think........if we could only get one more figure released in 2018, who would you choose?? For me it would be a tough toss up between Raditz and the long overdue Piccolo 2.0!! |

If i could only choose one figure? toss up between Jiren and Migate no Gokui Goku! Won’t they release more Super characters? Zamasu, Jiren, Ultimate Instinct. If not I hope for Bardock. They might go with Future Trunks from the Goku Black arc just because they're releasing Goku Black this year and they can go off that hype.

Being a Bardock buff.. I do have to clarify, Bardock did make appearances in the anime, in addition to those two panels in the manga. He made cameo appearances in Dragon Ball Z during Frieza's flashbacks to the 'final confrontation' scene when Frieza realizes Bardock's relation to Goku. I believe there were flashback snippets of Bardock in 3 epsiodes around that time (DBZ Ep. 78, 86, and 87). Then, in DBZ Kai, Bardock was shown in the beginning of the very first epsiode. Had to geek out there a bit..  Sorry! I feel like that's what you meant more or less, just my clarification.  A lot of people think he was never in the anime. He is super popularized in all of the things surrounding DB, that's for sure. I really hope they do make a figure for him - and that it's not Time Breaker Bardock or some variation from DBH or Xenoverse, or even DB Minus, but the OG Bardock from the first TV Special. Until then, I have my customs!

Speaking of the Goku 2.0 release... I have never preordered from Japan before (specifically Nippon Yasan). What time do preorders usually go live there?

Yeah, I've had my alarm set all week!! I think Japan pre-order typically go up between 3PM-5PM JPT, so that's around 6AM-8AM GMT
Amiami usually put them up with a countdown timer for when pre-orders start, so I will likely jump on their first when I wake up at 6AM and hopeful i'm quick enough to snag one before it's too late!
They really need to limit quantities to 2, or even 1 per household with this figure!
