Man, I missed the Nippon-yasan one, too! Gah... Ended up going with otakumode.com for max of 3, and anime-export for max of 1. Yeah, ordering from N-Y is a nightmare. Great for p-bandai exclusives, but everything else sells out too fast! Also, what's up with the October 2018 release date at Otakumode? Are they genuinely not getting it until 4 months after the release? |

Are they genuinely not getting it until 4 months after the release? Yeah, I noticed that. But I had lots of membership dollars to spend there, so I figured why not. The one from anime-export will be the June release, at least. I really hope it's not until October, but who knows. I'm keeping my eyes on Ninoma and DenDenHobby, those both have Japanese releases but I haven't seen him go up there. For my customs I need just 1 more. I'd like to get 2 come June - July, then if I have to wait till Oct. for the other 3, that'll be fine, just cuz I saved so much on them. |

not to mention the fact that we haven't even seen the almighty SSJ Goku in 2.0 How does everyone always forget the very first 2.0 figure? I get what you mean though, we could use a 'clean' 2.0 SSJ Goku at some point - and give him a damn happy/excited face this time, he spends half of his fights grinning like an idiot after all. |

I get what you mean though, we could use a 'clean' 2.0 SSJ Goku at some point - and give him a damn happy/excited face this time, he spends half of his fights grinning like an idiot after all. Hopefully we get it with a SSJ2 Goku. I would hope they'd give us that before a SSJ Goku 2.0. |

When they can milk all the crazy fans who will buy every Goku released? Be serious.
And TBf, I didn't forget, but I was specifically talking about figuarts making variants of the regular 2.0 Goku body. The Freeza fight version is cool, but it is more niche than a release of SSJ Goku is his normal outfit (which was one of the very first figures they made).
Me, I'd like to see regular Goku get released in a bunch of outfits, and then have a ssj1-3 pack just with faces and hairs to go on whatever normal Goku you buy. I don't even display ssj forms and I'd buy that sort of thing just on principal.

How soon can we start talking about this year's SDCC exclusive SHfiguarts DBZ figure? Because after years of trying I finally have the opportunity to go, so I'm especially curious this time around. Hopefully I can even meet some scalpers who can get me good deals down the line too!

Hopefully I can even meet some scalpers who can get me good deals down the line too! I don't know that there's a specific rule about when you can/can't talk about it, my personal guess would be a either 2.0 Arlia Vegeta (feels like Scouter Vegeta will have been around long enough by then) or the old favourite idea - PCE Krillin... One day... maybe... |
