Hahaha, we were all in denial that it wouldn't just be more news on Majin Buu!!  I'll admit the faces and accessories are nice, the price not so much. But 5 days of hype, just for that....I smell a troll! Anyway, I guess if anything it's helped push last minute Majin Vegeta sales as the Japan webshop pre-orders closed today. I made sure to snag mine just now. £50 shipped.... At least I didn't miss out like I did on Goku Black.............still unsure whether I want it though. Well the SJ calendar goes up next Thursday. That is likely when we'll hear whether Bulma is set to be our September release, or if they'll take a break until October. Still no sign of Gotenks. Maybe we'll hears news in March/April. |

I guess our best bet is to wait for another toy convention for some actual new prototypes. Anyone know what's the next event Tamashii Nation is attending? Tamashii Nations 2018 [Summer] will likely be Late May/Early June, with SDCC in July. |

I'd completely forgotten about Wonderfest which is starting today... I guess they could very likely be making a big reveal then 
Edit: Nevermind, I'm an idiot. It was on the 18th but Toyark just started putting up pics for it which threw me. Seems like Tamashii weren't even there as they were just at NYTF. Bandai never participate in Wonder Festival. It is a Kaiyodo managed event attended by GoodSmileCompany, Kotobukiya, etc. |

I collect some Figma and Revoltech stuff too so I was excited about it either way but for some reason thought Tamashii were there in the past. Wow now that I noticed, 8400 Yen is too expensive even in SHF general terms, and Fat Buu is not that popular to justify this price. I know he's big, but there isn't even a chest articulation there (besides some gaps in the neck and in his belly). My wallet is crying right now  |

Really excited about the Buu Release. Not really a fan of the whole countdown on their Instagram. I was expecting something more than just his announcement but I can't complain, this year is looking really great so far. I hadn't thought about it recently but the next Figuarts release is Black. Can't wait to see the packaging and get my hands on a couple of those figures.
