Are Frieza Pre-orders still up on Eknight? Hello...? Was really hoping to get him soon. When I emailed E-Knight a few days ago, they said they had enough copies from an another quantity order to cover additional Frieza pre-orders. I guess that hasn't changed since then, but maybe email them to confirm that they will have enough copies for you to pre-order after the "closing date." |

I was expecting Black to rise, but not God Goku. And that quickly. What happened? Super Saiyan God was not that popular when the figure first released. Why the sudden demand? I get Black, but why God Goku? This is precisely why I am nervous waiting on Bulma. I still do not like that outfit and disappointed no angry face, but she comes with a Dragon Ball, Dragon Radar and a gun, which are nice accessories. However, enough people will look past the outfit and before you know it scalpers will be asking $130+ for her. Figurarts figures seem to just spike in popularity at times. |

If anyone is still look to get the Resurrection Frieza he’s currently available for pre order again on BBTS. He's in and out of pre-order status a lot. Has been happening for about 2 weeks or so. The next Goku figure set to release in July is currently sold out at BBTS. That's... incredibly surprising. For any one looking to get their hands on Majin Vegeta, Toy Dojo (https://www.toydojo.com/s-h-figuarts-dragonball-z-majin-vegeta-tamashii-nations/) apparently still has him available for pre-order. This is a response I got when I contacted them to find out. "Thank you for contacting us. We have a good amount of figures on order and we have a very good relationship with our distributor. We also are very conservative with our numbers so we try to plan for the event of a cut by the distributor. So far we have filled all our preorders by 100% We don't expect Majin Vegeta to be any different and we should be able to fulfill all orders. Because of the limited availability of the Majin Vegeta we have limited orders to 2 per person and may drop that to 1 if we start running low. Please let us know if you have any problems." |

Figurarts figures seem to just spike in popularity at times. yeah exactly .. god goku wasnt sell so well for few months, and for no reason suddenly all places sold out and price went up ... i was aware of this because i bookmarked god goku page on BBTS to buy it for later at usd55 ... after he sold out, frantically tried other places like amazon where all jacked up .. but managed to buy on ebay for usd70+ shipped .. black goku different case ... he's sold out while still on preorder status, then jacked up soon its release ... took my precaution and able to preorder bulma and majin vegeta at BBTS ... hope it wont get canceled .. buy first regret later |

my frieza got it from hlj already shipped ..
majinbuu and goku, secured on hlj.. hopefully ..
and looking at recent pattern even normal releases got short of stocks, really worries me ...
god goku and black goku on mandarake already set at high price .. hinting that's the market price for now..

Decided to order Majin Vegeta instead of Frieza for now. Money is tight so I think my priority will be ordering exclusives first

Not that they’ve ever been not popular but I’ve never seen pre-orders sell out like this for just about every upcoming figure so far in advance smh
And even now spots are releasing them at prices higher than retail

Popularity of the show is definitely a good factor. Also the resale value of these figures. Low supply/high demand.

In fact, there's some sort of speculation going on imo. If I had invested all my money back then when SDCC Goku 2011 was released, or even when other characters were released after and soon skyrocketed in price, I would won much more than 90% of financial assets in the market, lol
People know that web exclusives are scarse - in fact, they are - but not enough to empty store's stocks in such a fast pace. Even before than it sells out, people start to inflate prices 'cause they know it'll sell. The dangerous part is: many collectors are starting to get annoyed about this. I've seen a good amount of people quit collecting the line 'cause it's getting more and more difficult to get the figures.
If only Bandai stopped releasing web exclusives...
