Vegito and Cell are $60 and Broy is $75. Out of curiosity, how'd you find out? I can't see it on Tamashii's Instagram. I’m sure that’s the standard pricing on those. |

Interesting choice for Cell. I was hoping that the final location will be in Chicago, but the Dragon Ball has moved away from that location. Oh well, better luck next time.  |

I’ll definitely be getting those 3 exclusives - if they haven’t sold out by the time they reach Dallas in October. Does anyone know if they limit their sells per event to have enough for the other locations they’re visiting? They'll definitely ration out enough for every event. And produce more for each event. They're still doing official bandai events and selling Goku Black at retail. They always hold extras for their events. Are you going to the Dallas one? That's the one I'll be attending! Also plasmavapor and zarbon you both were asking about Toy Dojo. They've actually been my secret spot for a while now. They do charge more for shipping than a lot of places often like $7. But the trick I've done is to put in big orders with them if you're able. I believe over $150 gets free shipping which BBTS doesn't do. They have fantastic communication and customer service. I've kept quiet about them for a while haha because I always want them to have enough stock for me. But they deserve the recommendation. Also to everyone talking about figure shortage. There are more collectors and more scalpers and tamashii/bandai seem to be shorting production. (rumor is to focus on marvel Avengers while the Infinity War gravy train is hot) Even a regular release Frieza may end up being difficult to get. Majin Vegeta and Master Roshi have had their productions shortened so preorder them asap if you want them. With the Goku Black fiasco and the quick sell outs of pink God Goku and SS3 Goku it is not as easy to collect the line as it once was. |

On the new preview video for the tour you can see the signature Vegito yelling smirk face that was a Base form face on the original now has the SSB paint job

Thanks to the two of you who mentioned toydojo; I put in an order for Majin Vegeta there. Also finally got one of the waves of Frieza on BBTS.
Also, anyone who wants Buu on BBTS should get their orders in asap; Buu is running low there now.

That SSGSS Vegito isn’t coming with a base head either which I’m happy about On the new preview video for the tour you can see the signature Vegito yelling smirk face that was a Base form face on the original now has the SSB paint job That seems awfully crappy, unless I'm forgetting something outside of the PCE Vegeta (the first PCE release we got) they haven't removed parts from any re-paints - certainly not from a con-exclusive. I know losing a second hair sculpt probably isn't much in the overal sceme of things if we still keep all the faces usable but it still means we are getting less than the original Vegito release for such a simple custom...
If that does end up being the case I'm tempted to just buy another old Vegito instead and repaint it myself...

It definitely seems like this line is getting more and more popular. I bet enough people will go all in on figures that people on this thread do not like, e.g. Gotenks and Bulma, and their prices will shoot up. It is becoming hard to predict. |

I've been thinking about the Bulma figure and the controversial outfit Tamashii chose. Hear me out: Bulma could work with that outfit. First off, the goggles are removable, so that is one irritation out of the way. Next, the "BULMA" armband could be removed by force if desired. Assuming that the paint job is consistent along the entire arm, that's another annoyance taken care of. Of course, there is not much that cannot be done about the Band-Aids, ripped pants and boots without a good deal of work, but the end result would be a somewhat resemblance of this Bulma from the Red Ribbon Army arc, ignoring the colors: Obviously it is not a perfect fix, but a start. Feel free to let me know what you think. |
