Some people on FB complain about Majin Vejita figure (different face from the Proto, "sh*t body" I dont have the figure yet, what do guys think about this figure I'm very disappointed, the finished product is very far from what we were shown ! The color of the skin and the outfit are different, but especially the faces are missed for the most part.
Tamashii completely missed the look on some faces, that's a shame...

That's a considerable downgrade, I didn't remember that prototype. Damn, Bandai.
Maybe they did it on porpuse to release a Battle Damaged upgraded version down the road.

Damn I can’t front, that prototype Majin Vegeta was perfect though
Better sculpted faces
More accurate outfit color
Better skin tone

Dear God almighty, is this the legitimate final release or an early bootleg? What in the name of God happened? Then again, Tamashii has been known to pull this crap with the faces (I.E, Battle Damaged Gohan's gritted teeth face and SS3 2.0's screaming face, both of which have their eyes looking in two different directions)

They're quickly losing my faith, tbh. Only reason I get them now is because they're the best articulated DBZ figures we've ever gotten. |

also, is Matte paint more expensive or something? Why do they always show off a matte finish and then give us ugly glossy paint jobs?

Obviously The veins ain’t that noticeable Plus, pretty sure we won’t be getting a regular Buu Saga Vegeta anytime soon so gotta make due |

Really disappointed in Majin Vegeta. The prototype looked soooooo good. Dang, I was already disappointed they didn’t go with battle damage or SS2 hair. Now all these inaccurate colors, cheap looking paint, and off looking faces...why are S.H. Figuarts Vegeta figures usually disappointing? This one was my most anticipated figure until they revealed it and started downgrading him. From this recent review you can see they didn’t even use the same paint for his upper and lower body. I hate to say it but several of the custom Majin Vegeta’s I’ve seen were better than the official. |
