Ew, no. First of all, Ultimate Gohan is old and expensive, so without a rerelease that's not really viable. Second, Ultimate Gohan is a completely different animal to Gohan from the Saiyaman saga... Elder Kai seems to age Gohan like a decade with his whole powerup deal.
And third... And this is the sticking point for me... That head is UGLY. The brows are too thick, the jaw is shaped weird, and his hairline seems more accurate to Vegeta than Gohan. I'd take the Dragon Stars head over that ugly Ultimate Gohan face.
That said, the sculpt from Ace would be great if it had two ears.

So this was revealed at DC right? I guess my assumption of a reveal at each stop were warranted. So we still have: August 30th - Toronto Fan Expo September 7th - Rose City Comic Con October 4th - NY Comic Con October 19th - Dallas Fan Days  Also lets not forget Tamashii Nations 2018 on 25th October @ Akiba Square, Tokyo!! This could end up being a very exiting 3 months of reveals!! Videl, Kid Trunks, Kid Goten, Buu Saga Krillin and maybe even an Super Buu form!! |

If they're showing off a prototype in every stop, then it would make sense why SDCC was such a light showing.

Got notified that my Majin Buu shipped from Japan. So I’ll be getting him before Goku and Roshi! I preordered the former two from sellers stateside here in the US. They haven’t been released here yet. Anyone know why the delay? Especially Goku, he was released in June in Japan but not here yet!

Got notified that my Majin Buu shipped from Japan. So I’ll be getting him before Goku and Roshi! I preordered the former two from sellers stateside here in the US. They haven’t been released here yet. Anyone know why the delay? Especially Goku, he was released in June in Japan but not here yet! Still waiting on goku myself. I bet he got delayed because bluefin wanted to sell him at the events first. |

I'll be honest, ever since we started hearing about all the insanity related to the Dragon Tour (3 exclusives, 3 announcements for SDCC and it looks like an additional announcement for every new stop along the way) I feel like we may have more or less been given an answer for the sudden supply shortages for figures like Goku Black a few months ago? And for all the late releases like Goku. I think they shifted production assets and supply for the conventions.
I am also awaiting my 2.0 Goku... yes, I caved and ordered one a few weeks ago. Seeing someone here swap out the belt is what finally sold me on it. I might take some Nail Polish Remover to the Kanji though, as I prefer Goku without them.

Goku not showing up stateside yet is definitely very weird. I got in contact with the guy I preorder stuff from and he said he hasn't even heard anything yet as of last night. Soooo... there is really no telling at this point.

I was told Bandai employees at their distribution places in Europe are all taking mass amounts of holiday over the summer and that’s slowing all deliveries down. The shop I bought Goku from in the UK hasn’t had any deliveries for 2 months because of it. Not sure if something similar is happening elsewhere but that might explain the delay.
