It's impossible to give concrete evidence with no images of prototypes or any links to announcements but there's little reason to doubt this supposed rumor. As I understand it Tokunation is very reliable with Figuarts related news and has been the source of similar "leaks" in the past...the info (given by a Bluefin representative, no less) was passed along to Den-O, an admin of the Tokunation forum, and he felt it was reliable enough to post so why should anyone else have any doubts? Plus it isn't like the interview revealed a 2016 SDCC exclusive Nappa with armor riding Shenron, SS3 Goku and Cell Premium Color releases and the new (possibly "Next Generation" Figuarts) Trunks and Vegeta figures aren't incredibly unlikely. axel, I think you're good to go, sell the SS3 Goku if that's what you want to do.

I think it's fine. A subtle increase in height seems appropriate and a bit more sensible.

I kind of figured it didn't need to be said but no, the Vegeta and Frieza won't be receiving a reissue. Keep in mind, they are still web exclusives that can't be reissued, and if they were going to see any sort of second release (i.e., leftover stock that someone found) Tamashii certainly wouldn't have announced it at NYCC. Those tags were placed there by Bluefin and likely just mean the figures are still out there in the market available for purchase.

so in the end ssgss goku has the accurate gi color? not really, to be completely accurate it needed to be a brighter shade of orange...but the end result still looks very nice. regarding the news...I can only imagine what kind of revisions we might receive as regular releases. I'm hoping for a new Namek Goku with new faces compatible with the 2014 Goku...Vegeta might prove interesting and absolutely should come with sculpted boot tips...I'm indifferent on Trunks as I feel the current version is one of the best releases. I'm not too worried about Cell's colors but they REALLY need to fix up the loose joints. That was the only thing that bothered me on Cell. As for SS3 Goku...I'm cautiously excited. If they give it the same skin tone seen on recent Goku figures, maybe paint the hair, and don't make the gi glossy and brown then the new SS3 Goku could easily become one of my favorites. man. so much to be excited about with this line.

I also like the gi and how the figure as a whole came out. Inaccuracies aside, it looks much better than the version shown in the promo pics.

On one hand...I get the feeling the Buu/Nappa/SS4 Goku figures may not come out for a long time...on the other hand....I bet Tamashii will be showing off some incredible/unexpected prototypes.

It's difficult to get a translation of the text on this image but it confirms the release dates for Beerus (March 2016) and SSGSS Vegeta (April 2016).

well, I appreciate that. still very disappointed that I didn't even place. I didn't mind the Bulma as it's difficult to tell what went into it but the other two bugged me...a DXF Gohan with Figuarts Goku parts installed and a purple gi Gohan with Goku faces and uneven skin tones (it's clear a Datong Goku was used as the base). eh...but what can you do.

more pics of the Gohan. (I hope canofbeams makes new a yellow Kamehameha with a white core to replace this pathetic excuse of an effect part...)

I'm not saying this in an attempt to sway anyone that hates the Gohan...I just want to throw some of my observations/opinions out. I'm very tempted to say this Ultimate Gohan is the best version of a figure that uses the Goku mold. At first glance it seems the orange used on the gi is lighter with subtle shading (the heavy neon orange shading still bothers me on Goku), the outfit has a heavier matte finish, the skin isn't painted (not something I want to complain about as the painted skin on Goku looks great but it's too easily damaged), the blue seems a tad darker and it looks as if they've updated the flesh tone joints to better match the unpainted skin (very happy to see that). The smirking face is very disappointing but I see plenty of reasons to like this Gohan.

you might try something else. I had some luck with Testors Dullcote Lacquer. I took some of this and applied it to the thigh sockets on a Vegeta and an SDCC Gohan. I let it sit for over 24 hours, applied another coat, and then let that sit for 24 hours...then I gave it another 24 hours just to be perfectly safe (bothersome since I was anxious to see the results but it was worth it). I knew it had worked almost immediately because the sockets were difficult to pop back onto the ball pegs. Granted it isn't absolutely perfect as friction is bound to remove some of the lacquer and it leaves behind a noticeable white residue on the sockets but the joints are much tighter and I was happy with the results.

Hey guys! Any advice on how to tighten up Vegeta's legs? I tried the Pledge floor cleaner technique to create more friction, but didn't work even after three layers. What did you guys try? Could you elaborate on how you added the Pledge? Did you remove the thigh socket from the waist peg and then apply the Pledge to the socket or did you dip it right in without removing the socket? Also how long did you let it sit before moving the leg?
