Figuarts Fire Mario is a "given"  It's a simple repaint. Same goes with Fire Luigi and if you want to stretch into some of the newer Mario games, even Ice Mario/Luigi. I'm sure I might be missing some other easy repaints...Star Mario...Rainbow Star Mario (in the newer games). You can toss a cape in to get Cape Mario from Super Mario World. I'm sure if they continue the Mario variations, we'll get Raccoon and/or Tanooki Mario. Probably the most popular Mario variation after Fire Mario. was thinking about this earlier...I'm totally fine with Fire Mario and Luigi but I think anything beyond those two forms would be pushing it a bit. I imagine a lot of people are waiting for a Princess Peach or some other essential character and seeing a Mario with a recolored outfit must have been a buzzkill. I might be fine with a Tanooki Mario but I'd much rather see what else they could come up with. |

I think they could have made a little more effort to include some more accessories with him. That is what mainly disappointed me how bare it looks compared to the other releases. The effect is just a thrown-in piece to make it seem like we are getting a bit more, and I can't say I care all that much for it. Other then that, he seem to only come with two alternate faces and another pair of hands. On top of featuring only a slight retooled Goku body and only a new head mold, that makes it a pretty cheap release. Still want it though, I just think they could have included more with him. Can't say I agree with all the complaints regarding the color scheme, I think it's consistent with the other manga releases, so it make sense that they choose this. It is consistent and it seems obvious they're sticking with manga colors for most of the releases...I just think it would have been nice to receive a red gi Gohan to get something different. I mean it doesn't bother me too much but I get why other people dislike it to the point they don't even want to buy it. So far we've seen the Goku mold come out five times (including SDCC Goku and Vegetto and disregarding reissues). Gohan makes the sixth time and it's virtually the same as the last Goku. I can't complain about that because I'm nuts about consistency but I also can't deny a Gohan with a new mold (or at the very least a new torso and other parts) would have been great to see. |

owh well guys.. take it or leave it .. haha yep. usually the case. real quick. They really coulda made gohans gi redder and then made goku sdcc with a redder gi. Just saying. WAIT, maybe they'll make krillin SDCC with the orange color gi and clear eyes. PERFECT or...maybe they'll make an SDCC Red Gi Gohan in 2017. The most I realistically see Saiyaman coming with would be... ...hadn't even realized how good the RoF torso would be for Saiyaman...interesting. I'm not sure if the Vegeta legs would provide the right height or not but the rest sounds fine. |

gil Hope you manage to come up with something...translucent hair, clear blue spray, and a white pearl dry brush (or detail spray) and you'd have something very close to what you see on the gashapon. I'm not sure if a light blue spray is even available...and the clear resin might cause problems, I think clear resin is harder than plastic. It may make it difficult to fit the neck/face pegs in and it could be a bit heavy in the end. It sure would look great though.

Figuarts Fire Mario? This is getting ridiculous (in the best way possible). IMO 2015 has been the best time to be a Figuarts collector.

I agreed with nearly every complaint made about this one and certainly made it clear (multiple times) how much I wanted a blue gi Gohan. It's mind boggling that they stuck with the orange gi and gave the SSGodSS Goku a red gi (an outfit that clearly needed orange parts) when this could have benefited greatly from a red gi (even though that's only accurate to the anime)...but I'm finding it hard to hate it.

I'd love one but it's too obscure and about the same size as Broly which means there's no chance it will come out (a figure as large as Broly would have to be a hot seller and Hatchiyack unfortunately wouldn't be).

 Pretty pleased...it's nice to know what to expect for the rest of the year. AGH...if that Frieza looks anything like their Saint Seiya figures I'll lose my mind....and the Goku looks pretty good as well. It's so great that it has the same skin tone as the normal Goku and that they're acknowledging one of the new forms. Only quasi-complaint I can make...I'm going to be sorely disappointed if they don't also make SSGodSS Vegeta and Beerus.

Interesting that I'm getting a chance to say this, you did some great work on all the customs above. The Turles was one of the best Turles customs ever made IMO.
