The legs are supposed to be wrapped in martial arts bindings. I kinda wish they had done it a little less uniform, so it looked more like wrap and not just striped socks, lol. You can see it better in game stuff. But, overall, I really like this figure! I wish this had been the Super design for future Trunks, too.

Yeah, it really ticks me off that every single other figure comes with normal and SS hair and faces...but, not Vegeta. If they aren't going to give us a normal Vegeta any time soon, they REALLY need to release a PCE Scouter Vegeta. :-/
But...I don't know how I feel about this figure. That's not MY time patroller, and I already have a custom that is almost done of my CaC. So, I will skip this. I dislike the colours a lot, too.

I'm really looking forward to this Trunks.
But, it really annoys me that they are just using straight cuts for the bicep articulation on this. It's not even trying to fit it in to sculpt or disguise it at all. Posing the arm any way besides lined up and straight is going to make that joint stick out a lot and be really ugly.
If they couldn't fit the joint into the sculpt, then they should have worked that swivel articulation in at the top of the elbow joint. Like other import figures have done.

That might work with a new head... I dunno... I'd have to see it done to know for sure. He just seems like he might still be weird looking in a Figuarts display, due to proportions and whatnot. I think some figuarts hands might fix it a little bit, with the headswap. But, if might be iffy. I'd rather have a shorter Pure Buu, than a taller and bulkier Figurerise though. Just need to see more comparisons. I wonder how long it will be until these get a domestic release?

guys do you know if super buu fits with the hybrid action scale? Unfortunately, not. Hybrid Action figures are in a 4-5" scale, with Shodo Neo being closer to 3" scale. The Shodo Neo Vegito is about an inch shorter than the Hybrid Action Vegito, so the Shodo Neo would be equally undersized.

Thank you, very much. Hmm...with a head swap, that might just work as a Pure Buu stand in. Doesn't really look that much smaller than this one, that other people use.

I really hope not. 17 and 18 aren't absolutely perfect, but they are great figures. They are much better than Goku, or the other early figures, and don't really need a redo. It wouldn't even be that much of an improvement.
That just seems like wasted slots. Save those slots for characters we haven't even gotten, yet.

There are a lot of characters that should come first, and I wouldn't want them to start doing all videogame characters. But...I would buy a Xeno Gotenks, no problem.

Very cool. Can you by chance take a picture of the Super Buu next to a figuarts Goku?

This is BAF wave, looks to be similar to their Legacy Power Rangers. So, these should be around $20 each.
It's interesting to note, the Shenron is made up of what looks like 6 different pieces. So, there will probably be 6 figures in the wave. Unless, they are only going to do 3 figures in a wave and space them out more.
The Legacy Power Rangers waves are made up of 5 figures total, with 3 being from one group of Rangers and 2 being from another group, with parts for 2 different BAFs.

jonmichael I meant that as a nod to TeamFourStar, my bad. We might need to get back on it, or the almighty Lord Popo will come for us. Oh, I'm sorry, then. It's hard to get jokes or tones of stuff online. I wasn't being mean, or angry, either. Just was a friendly explaination. Back on topic, I've been pondering getting a spare SSGSS Goku. To repaint the faces, and possibly cut the skirt part off the belt so I had a tied belt for normal Goku.

post-Time Chamber (or Room of Spirit and Time, for those who keep mispronouncing it) It's not a mispronounciation. It's the name Akira Toriyama gave it, when he created it. 精神と時の部屋 is literally translated to "The Room of Spirit and Time." Funimation just made up a new name, while Viz just translated it. People just call it whatever they are the most familiar with, or some people just go by Toriyama as "canon."

Does anyone have a pic of the Figuarts Gohan and the Cell together? I saw it at Comic Con and while it was fairly large, I think it could actually work On the previous page there is a picture. Although, it has Cell behind Figuarts Gohan and not a clearer side by side comparison.

Figurerise Cell is taller, but I kinda feel like his overall mass is just too bulky to go with a Figuarts display. His feet, hands, and head just look huge. I think they might just look "off" and stick out of scale. I wonder if I should just get it, and customize it into a semi-perfect Cell? That seems like it would be pretty easy. I'm gonna have the new pce Cell, anyways. It's the ideal Perfect Cell when he bulks up to try and defeat Gohan. I'm not really sure. I will need to wait and see when I personally have Figurerise Cell next to the Figuarts Gohan. Yes, Cell has good height, but there is a lot more to scale than just "height." There are some parts of the anime fights with varying, bad animation that made Cell look absolutely ginormous next to Gohan when he was all bulked up. But, he didn't keep that super bulked up look for their entire confrontation. It was really inconsistent, and in later media Cell has never really been portrayed in such a large size again. The proportions are what is throwing me off. Specifically, Cell's hands and feet look huge. His feet look like they could almost be the size of Figuarts Gohan's torso. The hands seem like they would dwarf most figuarts and be larger than their heads, too. That's just not how I picture Cell. He has clinched with Goku and Gohan, and their hands were similar enough size not to engulf the others. Same with the feet. I'm worried that his head will seem to big compared to a normal Figuarts head, too. This Cell would probably be the only Figurerise in my collection. Iam just not sure if I could personally like the scale difference, or if it would just end up bothering me too much. But, I will just have to wait and see for myself.
