This is a video that Tsume Art shared on their twitter, and it shows how things are sculpted on computers. SH Figuarts figures and I guess Tsume Art's statues are done this way or similar.

I'm going to ask the university boys if they can't do something like that with metal. I've seen the Vincennes university guys do world class work on the gadget they have. All I need is a couple blocks of metal to donate and one to use. They are cnc masters.

It can be done. I'm just going to see about aluminum Dragon balls.  A remade figure in metal would take weeks to get dimensions right. |

I meant more that I wish I could walk into my room and make a 3D figure of whomever I wanted and then have the resources to produce them.

Oh, you could probably find a cheap program. The real problem would be pricing on a machine to actually sculp them.
