X-Plus Beerus is ugly just as the rest of the line, well except for the Boos. I'm waiting for a MSP (or a SMSP, I should say) I like they're sculpting much more. I have to agree. But I'm not happy with the MSP SSG Vegeta scale.

This is fantastic news. I have a laundry list of wants for this line. I do wonder why Vegeta hasn't had an armored release yet. As well as Buu.

Just received my freeza. Man I hope some news surfaces for more figures. I think Buu and some form of Vegeta with his Armor on would be nice additions.

My 5 year old son just became a major DBZ fan out of no where. So I'd like something that has a big presence on a shelf. He likes the figuarts but i feel they are too small for him to enjoy. I don't know if I'd trust a 5 year old with those statues, those are expensive display pieces, and they're not ment for children to play with them. If you're looking for something big and not so expensive I'd go for the all of those vinyls you can find on ebay, they are pretty big and pretty cheap if you find a good deal. hahah not for play. I'm holding off for the Super Jakks figures for him. This is more so for a sweet display to move around and just drink in.

Whats everyones opinion on these? I'' all in on Figuarts but damn to these command a presence!!! The Boos are amazing, Freeza is great, Normal Gotenks also looks really good. Everything else is crap. Are these 1/6 scale? Can someone post pics of these with a ruler please? Super Saiyan 4 Goku - 10" Super Saiyan Vegeta - 8.7" Super Saiyan Future Trunks - 8.7" Super Saiyan 3 Goku - 11.9" p-bandai.jp/item/item-1000093668/Thank you. Seems like the typical Japanese 1/7 scale. That works. They may blend well with Kotobukiya statues.

What's annoying is that tien and yamcha would need such a small amount of new tooling! Tien could easily be just new boots on a Goku legs. The new semi shirtless goku looks like it's has the ripped shirt sculpted over as a separate piece so that could be used too. Then he'd only need a new head. Yamcha is the easiest tho. Piccolo body/legs. New feet goku arms and a new face on gohans hair. I want long hair Yamcha. The SS3 Goku hair would work for me... Hell, that could work for Radditz too.

I will admit, if Hot Toys picked up the 1/6 DB license, I would be all in. However, things would get expensive fast. I imagine a 1/6 line would price out like this: Regular Goku with smiling and angry heads, a pair of relaxed palms, pair of fists, pair of spirit bomb hands, kamehameha hands, an instant transmission hand, and a waving hand, cloth gi, pair of boots, cloth belt, and cloth wrist bands, and a Kamehameha effect piece with LED function. DBz Hot Toys base with craddle. - $249
$249 is the norm for Hot Toys. Now, with that money, lets call it $265 after shipping. You could buy the new SSGSS ( SSB) Goku, Golden Frieza, Ultimate Gohan, SS Gohan, Piccolo, SS Goku, and the extra $40 would either go to shipping each or you could snag a Vegitto.
So, most would say quality over quantity. But Figuarts is quality! They have a large catalog of Dragonball figures already, and there are figures HT would never touch, like Broly. He would easily be a $350-$450 figure. I'm good with that. After about 3 HT DBZ figures, you could own every Figuarts do date.
