So after many hours of work on this guy, here is my finished Raditz: Attachment DeletedAttachment DeletedAttachment DeletedI'm happy that I finished him, however, he's not that practical for stop-motion animation. One, his hair is a little too heavy, two I think I added a little too much muscle which ends up making him rather heavy overall to move (like his damn thighs are massive), and three I'm not completely satisfied with his overall look. I like him much more than my first Raditz custom but I think I'm going to take another crack at him. |

I added some more spikes (thanks Branjita!) and painted the feet tips yellow/gold (thanks Wave!). The base figure was a Datong SSJ Vegeta (which is a pretty great figure to modify). I need to make some more hands now and eventually make a battle-damaged version. Hope you guys/girls like him! |

I'm not a big fan of S.H. Figuarts or similar figures! Maybe because I'm out of the age, but you do it safely with much love for these figures! That takes a lot of time, to see juanpe! No matter what we collect for figures or make, we love Dragon Ball! Keep it up !!!  |

well Raditz is a little massive, but as a custom its really good. Majin Vegeta is Great! really liked him

WOW! Raditz is really impressive. I love his smirk, and his open hand.
Majin Vegeta is stunning! His torso molding especially blows me away.

Wow! Raditz turned out nice. He is a little unrefined, so if you want to, maybe in a few weeks once his paint has fully dehydrated, you could use a manicure tool (weak dremel) and get rid of the uneven areas, and then finish him off with a sanding block for manicures. He's a good custom, but not quite polished yet. Majin Vegeta is freaking great! Will you be adding bulk to Nappa eventually? His legs are in need of some muscle. Better get him to do some saiyan squats! |

Both of them turned out nice. Raditz' skin looks a little rough though and his waist flaps look long, but you got his size and height down pat. Majin Vegeta is really cool. His hair looks accurate. I would just lower the head a little on the neck and maybe sharpen his eyes. They still have the rounded corners that Bandai put on him and it's not conducive to Buu Saga artwork.

nice to see you back customizing! how´s the stop motion coming along? they look very nice man! keep it up. Thanks Juan, the stop motion is very SLOW...! I really need big chunks of time to capture a scene and I've been super busy lately. Hopefully I'll have some more time this winter (snow days!). I'll post a couple of clips of what I have so far on here soon. |

Here is my most recent custom of Nail (one of my favorite characters). I still have to make his blue vest tho. The base figure was a Manga Piccolo. It took like 6 or 7 coats of Model Masters Flat White to get his damn white pants to look good. I used Tamiya Pink for the arms/abs. Mixing the green skin was the toughest part tho. I ended up using Warpstone Glow Green (by Citadel) with some Model Masters Yellow added to it. The shoes are Model Masters Leather. Attachment DeletedAttachment Deleted Front. Sculpted the entire torso. I had to grind the hell out of the body so I could do the body with Apoxie Sculpt. Attachment DeletedBack sculpt. I realized later that I should have filled in the sleeve holes in his shoulders but I can do that whenever. For the red rings around the shoulder/arms, I ended up using very thin wire (from some computer part) and super glued them together and painted them red. The white scarf is from Piccolo's cape (I just snapped it off and trimmed the little purple pegs off. It is only being held on by sticky tack, in case I want to use the torso for Piccolo (maybe with battle damaged shirt?). Overall I'm pretty happy with this custom, especially since my last one (Raditz) was soooo difficult and took for ever! cleve |
