My heart goes out to you man. I'm sorry for your loss. I've also had a cat for about a year now so I understand how this may feel.

So sad to hear this king. If anyone remembers I lost my mini poodle Brandy last year after having him for almost 20 years. I'm still in mourning for him.

Sorry for your loss. I lost a dog in 2008 and 2011 and my last dog is 14 but still seems pretty healthy. It's hard but gets easier over time. You'll always have them in your heart and eventually you'll be able to look back and laugh at all the silly little things they used to do.

I just lost one of my cats last year and a few years before that I lost another cat in a similar way as you. I was there when it happened. I just heard a big crash sound and thought the cat knocked over something but the crashing sound was him falling off the bed and he died just like that when I came into the room and I couldn't do anything to help him. Vet said it was a heart attack and he must have had a condition we didn't know about. Always sucks to have a pet die especially unexpectedly like that.

That's really suck to hear you guys. I lost my boxer dog five years ago, I had her for 13 years from when I was three years old. A few months ago I moved and one of my two cats had a really bad case when I left him at my parents for two weeks, the vet told it was a result of stress which can lead to poisoning. I thought he was going to die and rushed him to the pets hospital, I was speeding to get fast since I was scared for him and a truck crashed the side of my car.

Sorry about your loss king! I've lost a kitten too a couple of months back. It was a stray but it used to visit my place frequently and I's sorta adopted him. He'd even nicked my finger once ( it was a pretty nasty one) but over time we'd bonded really well. Then, one day, all of a sudden he just passed away and I wasn't even there to see it. I had overslept that day and my cousin said that he just gave him one last look while climbing up the stairs. When my cousin went up to check on him, it was trembling and spazzing out before finally giving away. No one dared to wake me up knowing my affection for him. It wasn't till late afternoon that I got to know about it. Felt so upset, disturbed and helpless that I wasn't able to do anything to save his life.

This just happened to my family. My parents had two cats. One white male hemingway and a black female cat. We named them Johnson and Jackson but I gave them nicknames of Korin and Scratch from DBZ lol....anyway, Johnson is much older than Jackson. He is 11 now and Jackson 3. In late May, a few weeks ago, Jackson started to not eat as much and on June 1st, she went into hiding. My parents couldn't find her until they looked in the garage hours later. She was alive, but very sick. (No, my parents don't put their cars in the garage in case you're wondering and she was only in there for a few hours maybe) They took her to the vet and they said she was internally ill and nothing could be done unless with $500 of tests and what-not. My dad lost his job last year and they just get by, so they could not afford it. The vet said even if they did try, the chances of finding the exact cause of the internal illness and fixing it would be slim. So they put her to sleep on June 3rd. The sad thing was that the vet said some cats go into hiding when they know something is wrong, such as feeling like they are dying. Poor Jackson knew she was going to die. So sad My family decided to not cremate her and brought her frozen body home wrapped in an air-tight bag. They were given a coffin by the vet and my mom bought a cat blanket with little paws on it. She laid it out into the coffin and they unwrapped the female black cat into the bed. She was curled up and frozen solid. They let Johnson, the other cat, look at her one last time and he did, smelt her, and has been lonely since. My parents buried Jackson in our backyard last Thursday, along the 1st base line of the baseball field we used to create in our backyard as kids. Touching. I wasn't really close to Jackson since I moved out a year before they got her, but I'd visit and she'd always be there. Just an innocent creature. Died very young. Poor thing. RIP Cat Jackson.

Yeah. Just a couple of weeks back our pet canine Bruno met with an unfortunate accident. He is just over 8 months old and had developed a bad habit of crawling under the fence and running outside to bark/shoo at other strays. That unfortunate day, he did the same thing and I found him sitting by our gate, unresponsive. To my shock, his rear legs, thigh and neck were drenched with blood. We assumed he had been mauled by those strays outside and thought the fracture on his leg might have happened when he was trying to get back in. He is recuperating well now but we can't cast his leg in a plaster since his wounds are yet to heal. One thing the vet remarked when he first examined his injuries was that they were the result of a car hit which may be possible since we never actually saw the strays attacking him. Seeing his brother run, play around makes him put his head down in despair because he cant do so, which just makes me flinch.
