I've heard a few stories back In the day about zero feedback buyers, but is there any issue/danger with zero feedback sellers? My situation being that there's an item on eBay that's listed a bit wrong and has a decent price but the guy has 0 feedback.

There's not really much of a risk. If he doesn't send it to you or if there's an issue eBay will give you a refund.
