Look who just arrived   I'll admit, he's smaller than I expected, but I'm still happy. It's a nice figure. Great quality finish and the color palette match well with the Figuarts.  |

So what's everyone's thoughts on the 2010 DX Soft Vinyl 2nd Form Frieza? I just saw it pop up on Manda and since I had an open order at complex I threw it in the lot.  Based on the manga I scale him at around 50% taller than Goku. The figure is listed as 210mm. With Goku at 140mm I'd say that's practically perfect. Thoughts?  |

Think it goes for over $100 these days! The soft vinyl is only $30, which is pretty good given the age, so i'm happy. Looking forward to creating a Namek Saga display when DF Jeice and Guldo drop, as we'll have more than enough figure for a dedicate case by then! |

So I found out the Frieza figure on it's own stands at 55mm, so in the pod it would stand at around 100-110mm. The box is 120mm, so sounds about right.
SHF Frieza is 120mm, so i'm hoping this will scale reasonably well. This will be my first painting project, and being a perfectionist it'll probably end up in the bin, lol, but i'll give it a go!

I have that Frieza. It's too small for 5 inch scale by quite a lot. It's 4 inch scale.

I've ordered one from Manda for $10 on a whim since I had a few other items at the same store. Really looking for a good SHF scale Frieza in his hover chair, (the figure-rise one is just too big!) Guess I'll just have to keep looking! |

I'm not sure where I might have comparison pics to be honest. I'm not sure where I have that little guy either. I know I was working on enlarging the side protrusions on the hover chair, to scale better with 5 inch scale and resemble the actual hover chair a bit better. All my stuff is in storage containers at home, so I'm not sure where either one is. I doubt my old photobucket pictures still work in my WIP Customs topic either, but the pics would be in there.
If you got it for $10 I don't think you did bad at all... That thing isn't common. If you paid $40 or something, then I think you'd have regrets.

I probably won't even open it once I see how small he is, but hey, if he's rare I guess he's a find |
