the bad kind that are usually called "weaboo"? the ones that give normal anime fans a bad name.
they mock you for not likeing things like naruto or clannad or flip out when you call anime a cartoon
I have been running into them alot lately

I always call anime "Chinese cartoons". It's great. People hate me but it's great.

Weaboos have always been around. It just as of late, being a "nerd" has become more popular so now weebs are going all out. I mean, we are on a forum where we collect dragon ball figures so we are not too much to talk but yee weebs are here and they aint playing around.
try going to an anime convention in Naruto gear, i dare you. Youll get harassed and told to kiss some other cosplayer dressed as another character to satisfy their OTP FEELS

I mean, we are on a forum where we collect dragon ball figures so we are not too much to talk but yee weebs are here and they aint playing around. there is a difference between most of us on this forum and the ones i speak of, most of us have common decency and don't harrass each other over stupid things like once again, calling anime cartoons. the majority of us are nerdy or just enthusiastic or its just our hobby. the kind of people i'm talking about are the ones that 1)live anime 2)breath anime 3)talk about nothing but anime 4)will knock you out if you say you dont like whatever their favourite series is because "[INSERT ANIME HERE] is the greatest series ever made, your an idiot!" anime is a hobby, a passtime and fun. these people act like there is nothing in life beyond it and are quite similar in annoyance level to the people who treat video games as life (often stating "its not a game, its a sport"... I'm sorry but when the actually bloody F**K did sport mean sit your ass down on a couch or chair and not run the F**k around getting excerscies? I barely, BARELY consider Golf and Curling sports so why the hell is moving your damn hands a sport???) ... but that is a mini rant all in and of itself try going to an anime convention in Naruto gear, i dare you. I totally agree with you. I was just making a joke  chill and yeah i know. As a somewhat cosplayer, ive experienced creeps at cons. Its gross and they need to learn barriers. that craps cute in naruto but dont go hugging people without their consent |

also, its usually the girls i see harassed, guys arent harassed when they dress as sephiroth or kamina or kratos (and look good doing so)

hm. the cons im at, its mainly the guys getting harassed. They'll be in Free cosplay or Black Butler cosplay and women will yell horrible things at them.

I remember back in the day when this big fat white girl was so obsessed with Inuyasha. She came on the bus wearing cat ears, many mocked her and she would be like "you all are baka" she would try to speak Japanese and was obsessed with writing in Kanji as well. She had all her school supplies with Inuyasha on it. I remember she sat by me on the bus and I felt so awkward, she looked at me and said "I am a neko " then she showed me sketches in her note book of herself. she drew her self very skinny, Anime style eyes and I was trying hard not to laugh when I compared her real self to her drawing. She was signing Japanese anime theme songs the whole way to school. Then my friend kicked the seat and whispered "is that your new girl friend?" I then blurted out "no are you crazy shut up!" then he was like "whens the wedding? are you buying a oak wood bed" I got so mad and I got up from my seat to move as far a way from the fat white cat anime chick, wile the bus was still moving and the bus jerked and I flew forward and fell on the floor and got in trouble by the bus driver for getting up lol

I would like to add anime fans flip out when you call Reboot anime. If you still see that girl tell her Reboot is the best anime ever. She will flip out.
So, did you buy your girlfriend that nice oak bed?
