 As it well known now, the sequel to last year's movie and the thirteenth movie from DBZ i.e. 'DBZ: Resurrection of F' is all set for an April release. As an unprecedented twist, the once powerful and dreaded villain, Frieza returns to exact revenge on the monkeys... err, Saiyans. To celebrate the release( yeah right!) of this movie, Banpresto has announced a lottery/raffle which is popularly known as Ichiban Kuji. The promotion is called 一番くじ ドラゴンボール～ゴーゴー！フリーザ様 ( lit. translated, Most lottery Dragon Ball - Go Go! Freezer like) and will be held mid-April. There will be 8 types of prizes or awards plus a Rasutowan and a Double Chance variant. The cost per ticket/draw is ¥350. A prize - TBA B prize - TBA C prize - TBA D prize - TBA E prize - TBA F prize - TBA G prize - TBA H prize - TBA Last One prize - TBA Double Chance prize - TBA As imminent, there will be a Frieza figure and I hope the rest of the line-up has some interesting stuff unlike the lacklustre prizes from last year. What figures would you guys like to see this year? Feel free to chip in with your suggestions/updates/info.  |

Any chance it's a figure of his new form? Gosh knows it's the only way we'll ever see it.................. I'm afraid they'll release the figure earlier than the film and spoil the new form for everyone. Hopefully that doesn't go down. |

I think they will release a desent amount of merchandise for him, it's frieza afterall.

The movie releases on 4/18 and this is scheduled to be held mid-April. Normally the prizes are unveiled a month or couple earlier. So, if there's a new form Frieza figure in the lineup, I think the smartest move would be to have it as a last one or a double chance variant which are revealed a little later.

This....isn't my final formAfter the recent reveal of Frieza's new look, form, transformation or whatever, comes the supplementing promotion i.e. Ichiban Kuji to well,......supplement its lameness!  A Prize: Chibikyun character Frieza special color ver.( probably meant to be won in the mobile lottery/double chance promo with the normal version being the A prize)  B Prize: 3 types of Frieza voices. For one, I don't really know what that is supposed to mean. Awaiting pics. Last One Prize: 15 kinds of special Frieza stickers. Awaiting pics. Also, from what I assume, there seem to be 15 types of character stickers along with dialogues and an ID to be used for playing the mobile lottery available with each draw.  Go Go Frieza. Yeah right!

That would not satisfy me though. The Frieza final form of HQDX measures indeed 15 cm. In this size, I would take him. In a DXF he would be about 11-12cm. 1kuji.bpnavi.jp/item/1023The A prize is just a repaint of one of the chibi G prize from the 2011 Kuji. (that had the 100% Frieza and Namek Goku statues). This got to be the worst Kuji so far.
