Hello all. A (former) Collector here, all the Way from Germany. I started collecting during the Time i became a Hardcore Fan of the Franchise, which is already over a Decade ago.. I think i started with the Irwin Toys Krillin some Time in 2002. Found him hanging around in a Drugstore for smooth 2 Euros. Another bigger Memory is the 'Dragonball GT 3D Collection'. This is featured here as well, with Mention of the German Ones. Cool to see that. But i think we had a Exclusive Figure. The Old Kaioshin. Havent seen him in the Italian or the French Series. Is that so though?
Sadly they canceled ours with the 40 Issue, so that we didn't get the whole Bunch. The Atlas Series, which ours seemingly was based on, even had a friggin Driving School Piccolo. A shame that we never came that far..
I left that whole collecting Path some Years ago, when i lost the Interest in Figures. Money Issue (not really a dirt cheap Hobby after all lol), grewing Older and seeing how they evolved into Dust Catcher, led to it.
But an old Love never let you loose completely, eventually. So i recently returned to it. A little.
The Figuarts got my Attention again. They really are insane. Irwin Toys, Jakks Pacific and whatnot aren't standing the slightest of a Chance against those Calibers.
Oh and i like some of Banprestos DWC World Collectible Figures.
While we're at it.. Does anyone know a good Shop with Figuarts and DWC Figures (Recently Waves like the Battle of Gods and the Jaco one) that is located/operating within the EU? Also Ebay Shops. Any EU Members which having accordingly Sources maybe?
'Cause i'm not to keen to import from Japan or US, if i can avoid it. Mostly because of annoying Inch-Involvement
Well that should be enough for the Moment.
Greets.

Welcome to DBF! I didn't know the French line of figures went further than the German one. We've never had any German members to my knowledge, so this is really cool! The Old Kaioshin was definitely released in France, but not Italy. Germany only got the black base figures to my knowledge, France only got black, and Italy only got white. In France they were made by Editions Atlas. In Italy DeAgostini. I think the German ones are Editions Atlas figures, but they say DeAgostini on the base. Is that correct?

Welcome! Do you come from Germany? What Figuarts you like it? The S.H.Figuarts (most here in this forum) or the Figuarts Zero (Some of us, including me)?

Yes. They were published under DeAgostini. @redstar The regular Line which has it's own Category here. Dunno which one to grab yet, if any. They are all so solid done.

Welcome to the site! So do you have anything Dragonball related? Or are you barely getting into collecting again?

Welcome to the site! So do you have anything Dragonball related? Or are you barely getting into collecting again? I have a 'decent' Amount of Irwin and Jakks, bunch of the 3D Collection and some others here and there. At least enough to fill a Display Case. I'll show them later

Welcome to DBF The only German store that sells figures I know of is called KingPlayer. But I would seriously recommend you not use them. They're customer service is garbage, they practically reply to mails 3 and 4 weeks later. They owe me a refund for a preorder I made that they couldn't fullfill since last August! I'll be sure to tell you if I see any European store that sells figures.

Melek can you explain how the DeAgostini figures were sold in Germany? We need that detail in our checklist on here.

Here in Switzerland, but you can order more in the french side than on the german side. The french have dragon ball already released in the '80/'90. In Germany until ten years later. I think it is not there as popular as in France (unfortunately also here in Switzerland)! My view. Other European countries, I do not know. Have not tried it yet.

roshisurpriseI know this Site. Some Time ago i was on the fence to order there. These Days it appears to be the best Source for DB Figures in our Web. Thanks for the Warning though, lol. BranjitaUh sure, i can try. It started in early 2003. Funny Thing is that this came out way before GT actually aired here. The First Issue had a 'Welcome' Price of 1.90€. As usual for Collections like these. It began with Goku SSJ 4. Second was a Issue with two Figures (only one), Bebi-Vegeta and Pan. Regular Prices were at 5.90€. They were released weekly. As mentioned before it lasted for 40 Issues, with Mr. Satan as the final One. Do you like to have the exact Numbering with Figures? I can give the ones i have, at least. There was a Folder to sort the Magazines in, which i too have. The Magazines itself had short Informations and Trivias about the featured Character, other Characters of all Periods, Places, Planets, Events, Vehicles and whatnot. Also some Active-Pages with Riddles, Puzzles and how to draw a Character. That's what i remember and what to get from the Magazines all in all. Could add some Pics of typical Sites and how the Folder looks like if wanted and if it isn't known from the French or the Italian Series already. @redstar DBZ was very popular, when it aired the First Time in 2001. It was placed right before the Prime Time, in the Evenings. Pretty Big Deal back then. We got the French Version. Edited tho. But not that bad. Most was in the Saiyan and Freeza Saga. Not that much that anyone complained much about it. Since the Internet and everything was still in fledgling Stage at that Time. Ah shucks... Memories. So long ago.

So were they sold like a magazine subscription and mailed to your house? Or did you have to go to a store to get them? It would be really cool to see some pictures of them and any details that are specifically German.

Otherwise there are people on this site: kleinanzeigen.ebay.de/anzeigen/s-dragonball-gt/k0 selling these figures!
