Got store credit at a local vendor for returning a fake figure. Most of their items are fakes but I think their WCFs are real. How can I be sure though? Don't wanna walk out with more boot legged items. Need advice quick. Thanks everyone.

Cheap painting and unrefined details. Do you have any pics?

Wow man that's pretty tough to say as I don't have them, they look pretty good... But I see some paint errors in their skin, so I would not decline the option that these are also bootlegs. Let's see if someone else can tell for sure.

I've determined everything at this store is a boot leg. They won't refund my money, only let me exchange for other boot legged items. I spent $68 originally and now I'm left with a boot legged turd. If anyone is ever in Orlando, FL don't shop at Kingz Anime. They're a joke.

With that set, if they have red rods holding them up they are fakes. The rods are supposed to be clear.

The sad thing is that this store probably knows they're ripping people off too. Some people are indeed innocent and actually don't know when they're doing it, but since they're in the business of selling anime merch, they definitely probably know their a** from their elbow when it comes to authentic vs fake.
Wasn't it you MajinRob who unfortunately got a knock off MSP Goku from them?
If you show a close up of that Medicos in their shop, we might be able to tell you if it's real or fake. That is, if you're interested in that figure because that one looked real from the pic you posted on the other thread, but it was small and you couldn't see it well.

Sad that a whole store is dedicated to selling bootleg merchandise. It would be one thing if it was reasonably priced, but that doesn't seem to be the case. Best of luck on all of it. Hopefully you can at least find some enjoyment in the items you do eventually pick up.

The Medicos may be real, but they're asking hundreds of dollars for it. I just took the MSP I originally bought and left. Gave the MSP to a friend who doesn't mind displaying it. It means nothing to me as I only collect legit figures. The owner of the store tried arguing with me and saying that North America got lesser quality figures and that "Japan gets the good stuff". Pretty much acting like I'm some idiot who will believe any stupid thing he says. Little does he know I have extensive resources and background with these types of things. Oh well. Live and learn. Never spending money there again.
