Greetings everyone,
I'm Detroa, a 31yo fan from the French speaking part of Belgium (and I learned English by playing US version of some J-RPGs and watching some anime with English subtitles so please forgive my mistakes, there will be a lot of them unfortunately
).
I started watching Dragon Ball when I was pretty young, maybe around 7 or something but got really addicted around 11 when Z was airing (I think the Cell saga is what got me hooked up). I started collecting at the same moment, AB figures (which I discovered years later where made without any authorization) of all sizes, kits, trading cards, pogs magazines, some Super Battle Collection figures from Bandai and of course, the first French edition of the manga which was also my very first manga series (I'm also a manga collectors with several thousands of issues).
Like most people, I got rid of most of that stuff while growing up and only kept the manga (even though I kept following the franchise and watched GT when it aired). Years later, I'm 24 and I stubble on pics of some Revoltech figures from the Transformers franchise (another childhood obsession of mine). A few months later, I'm completely obsessed with toys again and it's not long before I cave in and buy Gokuu and Piccolo S.H.Figuarts.
I got each release including convention exclusives but ended up selling most of the latter since I don't really like their colors.
Today I eagerly await new reveals (S.H.Figuarts are the only DB figures I'm collecting so each release is pretty important to me) even though I'm not too fond of some of the character choices (Beerus and Jaco will be the first two DB S.H.Figuarts I'll completely ignore since I hate Kami to Kami with a passion and couldn't care less about a completely random guest character).
I hope these new movies and Super won't make Bandai forget about all the classics main characters still waiting for a good action figure. The line still needs Ten Shin Han, Yamcha, SS2 Saiyajin warriors, Radditz, kid Gokuu & Kuririn and many more.
Anyway, I think that's about it regarding me.
