And I honestly haven't compared the original goku I have to the Mexico one but I can they say they look similar if not the same, sometimes I feel like the Mexican goku is a little smaller but if it isn't then the namek saga goku is the same as a arlia vegeta just a repainted from a different time period as an exclusive, sure it's the same saga but it did take a year to get the earth lol

To blank and whoever else has doubts, this was posted a while back but this is the evidence we have: 1. Alex Bias, the owner of Ageless Geeks (online toy store), has connections to Bluefin/Tamashii and is well known in the community for accurately providing information for products before they get announced. He correctly predicted the repaints of Trunks and Vegeta and posted the following on his Facebook page: "So Geeks I know the Sdcc exclusive and im disappointed looks like Bandai didn't give them an option this year lol. If your looking for the Mexico exclusive don't waste your money. That is all" 2. The DAM (Distribuidora Animexico) representatives at the Mexican event confirmed that the figure being sold at the event (MexiGoku) would be available for purchase at SDCC as the exclusive. Here we have two very official sources outside of Bluefin/Tamashii themselves confirming this. If that's not enough, I don't know what is. It's VERY LIKELY that the SDCC is indeed this figure. To what extent, we don't know, but everything points to it. I'm not one for speculating and confirming something until there's good evidence that it may be true, but to me, this is confirmation enough that this figure is the exclusive.

Or what if an online toy store wants to buy a good amount of the Mexico goku himself and has the power to draw down the price

Or what if they are making us think something so the real thing is a surprise... Who knows

Considering there's only 500 of MexiGoku (Namek Goku with Mexican packaging) and they're all from people like you and me, I don't see that happening. An SDCC version on the other hand is inevitably going to be carried in select online stores as well as Bluefin Premium just like the past exclusives were. Again, unless you REALLY want that box, I'd wait for the SDCC announcement.

Also that goku super warrior sounds like when he first transformed into a super saiyan with the ripped clothes or maybe even a piece that comes off to make half his blue shirt ripped and full again

Two outside sources, would of been better if they were inside sources. Like ACTUALLY work in/for Tamashii Nations/Bandai. AgelessGeeks, *sigh...* that new site... He has connections to Tamashii/Bluefin because hes sells their merchandise, of course hes going to have connections as to every other store owner who sells Bandai products, BigBadToyStore, Amazon, ToyNtheBox, ToyArena, ToyWiz and so on and so on, they all have connections to Bluefin/Tamashii. And because he apparently predicted the paints of Vegeta and Trunks doesn't mean anything as it was pretty much a given as due to their high demand, Tamashii doesn't re-release exclusives, current SS Vegeta and Trunks are in their anime colors, so no other option is to release them in repaints in their manga colors, as they already several times before. The only that can probally be right is the guy from DAM, but again representatives don't know all the facts or much info. You got that info from a comment here on this thread.
The only got point can be that guy from DAM. But we all can only wait for Tamashii to actual announce what their SDCC DBZ exclusive is. As they never released a figure for this event, call it exlcusive, and then release it again, and call it exclusive too.

You're new to this thread so you many not be familiar with Alex, but he's a VERY credible source. Also, I got the DAM information from a different forum as well as Mexican members that actually went to the event and/or know someone that did. When the confirmation comes out, I don't wanna be the one to tell you I told you so but... Also, it would actually make sense business wise to do this. Give Mexico an exclusive box and re-use that exclusive for the SDCC event. Why would they go through the trouble or re-painting and re-sculpting a figure just to sell 500 at one event. I don't even need proof to support this claim, just common business sense.

I don't know about that business sense. A exclusive is supposed to be a exclusive, can't be a exclusive if its avaliable somewhere else, right? But other toy compaines have done it before. But it does save Tamashii time to just rebox the a current figure than to redo another one.

If I'm wrong, I'm wrong. I'm just making an educated assumption based on the available information. I pray the "intel" is right cuz I really want this Goku and I'm NOT willing to pay what these scalpers are asking for. If anything it'll be some variation of this Goku (different Kanji, different faces, etc.), I'll take that too. Tamashii sure is taking their sweet time announcing it though... They're probably looking at these forums and laughing at us as we debate over what it's gonna be, sly bastards!

I also want this Goku too as its how I remember him and got me into DBZ. And like you too, don't want to pay the crazy amount due to the scalpers and unexperienced bidders. I hope its exactly the same as the MexiGoku. I wouldn't want it to be the same-o normal Goku with just the belt and face. No color difference and "GO" symbols.

I find it amusing that this thread will be effectively dead when the actual announcement comes through. Either way one side will likely disappear from it.
