My first ever custom is done. The whole thing has been a massive learning curve and not as easy as I thought it might be. The paint work seems to be the hardest part to it, joint rub is the bane of my life. I've got the customising bug now and hopefully I will improve as I get round to doing more. Anyway here's my custom Majin Vegeta. Hope you guys like it. Da Tong SSJ Vegeta used as a base. Sculpted in a new spike of hair, added bit of mass to his shoulders, sanded down the armor. Ideally I'd liked to have put some more chest definition in there but there's always next time.

The veins in his arms look very cool. This is pretty good for a 1st custom!

It's actually quite good for a 1st custom. Better than mine looked 15 years ago. You'll get better too. Welcome!

New custom. Bootleg Goku that is very loose joint wise. The sleeves keep coming off so decided to try my hand at Goku's outfit when he fights Raditz and removes his weighted clothing. Sanded off the wrist bands, sculpted more vest on and got a base down for his chest. I plan on sculpting some bare feet on the boots and the boots around the ankles will have more sculpting on them to turn into the rest of his pants. And for the belt I sliced his waist band in half and will use the spare parts for the ties.

I'm currently down to my very last sheet of Style 3 stickers (it's on my ebay... www.ebay.com/itm/231647955887?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649 ) and sold out of Style 4, so if you are interested, you should nab that last sheet. Everything else I have is Irwin/Jakks size or a misprint of Style 4 (wrong colors and/or printing mistakes). I don't have time to print more as the process isn't as simple as hitting print unfortunately, and I'm having issues with my printer doing a good job anyway. I don't know if it needs to be cleaned or what, but it's ANNOYING. So anyway... yeah... buy that last sheet if you're interested, because I don't know when I will have time to print more. Maybe a week, maybe a month, maybe several months, idk.

Ah damn I haven't had time to check out this site the last few days and didn't see the listing for those stickers. If you ever get round to doing more Branjita hit me up and I'll purchase some. Much easier than trying to hand paint it on to the gi. Anyway here's an update. The creases need to be refined a bit more, wanted to try and get rid of some the creases. And I'm going to start work on the feet soon. I sanded off the blue sleeves and reattached the shoulder parts but not sure if I should keep them on. Here's the pose I've been using as reference. The belt and the symbols will be the last pieces of the puzzle then I can paint it up.

The custom is looking nice! I'll let you know when I print more. I'm completely out of Style 3 and 4 right now.

Goku w/o weighted clothes done. At least until I can get some decals from Bran Really enjoying customising figures. Almost as fun as collecting them! Think I'm going to resculpt the chest on my Majin Vegeta next. Then probably buy a bootleg saiyan saga Vegeta and try making a Jeice like I saw in some thread on here. Very cool! Let me know what you guys think

nice work ssjgrintygood job on the feet personally i would have left the shirt sleeves on and maybe taken a little more off them apart from just the t shirt bits also i think you got the arms the wrong way cause the peg holes are showing at the front, or maybe thats how the bootleg was? i might have misinterpreted your question on my thread so just in case: thers no easy way to match up the colours to the existing ones, in some cases it may be easier to just blitz the original colour with your own to save any obvious mismatch

The Hips were backwards so I had to swap the legs. Thanks for the advice Painting is the hardest part of customising for me right now.

Yeah it's not the da tong version, its the cheaper bootleg which I wasn't aware existed. I've swapped the arms round and also added the sleeves back on and it does look a lot better. Just waiting for Branjita to do some more emblem sheets and I can call it finished. Ordered some paints you suggested last night too so I think both customs will be due a make over when they arrive. And hopefully my new da tong saiyan armour vegeta will arrive soon so I can either do namek vegeta or a jeice custom

Working on my box art for my custom Majin vegeta. The halftone effect was so difficult to get, doesnt look right small but click for the larger image to see the effect better. I'm still not a hundred percent happy with it but it's getting there. Just deciding on a colour scheme for the box. I'm thinking blue and platinum blonde right now.
