This got a few responses last time so I thought I'd bring it over I'm sure being DBZ fans we have also watched are fair share of other anime series/movies as well. I have a few favorites but will list my top 5 anime movies: 1. Ninja Scroll 2. Space Adventure Cobra 3. Fist of the North Star 4. Battle Angel Alita 5. Wicked City As far as series go I loved the original Neon Genesis Evangelion. What are your favorites?

Aint that into movies but my top 3 would be:
1. FMA: Conqueror of Shamballa- Very underrated movie, open your hearts Brotherhood fans! 2. Ninja Scrolls - JUBEEEEEEEIIIII!!! 3. Wrath of the Dragon - Only know the Japanese version so that might not be the right English name but its the 13th movie with Tapion.
For series I'll have to think for a min cause I don't rank things.

Conqueror is an amazing film. I'm a sucker for pretty much anything FMA. As far as DBZ movies, 8 (bojack) and 13 (hildegarn) have always and will always be favorites. Favorite anime movie of all time though? Akira. It still blows me away that it was 100% hand drawn. Just a monumental achievement in animation. I can't watch it without wanting to hop on a bike.

Akira was definitely a landmark in anime movies. Love that whole cyberpunk genre. Haven't actually seen any Fullmetal Alchemist .

My favorite anime series are:
1. Fullmetal Alchemist (& Brotherhood) - FMA takes the cake for me. It's raw emotion, a brilliant, fleshed out political system and society, great animation. 2. Dragon Ball (& Z) 3. Cowboy Bebop 4. Trigun
I'm fond of the Cowboy Bebop movie, the Trigun movie, and all of the films and specials based on the Dragon Ball franchise. I also really like Miyazaki's work, especially "Spirited Away".

can someone tell me how good these animes are: full metal alchemist bleach naruto one piece I can tell you Fullmetal Alchemist is probably the best story I've ever seen in anime. Gets really depressing at some points though. One Piece is also really good, if you like the kind of humor in Dragonball then you'll dig One Piece. Luffy's basically Goku just a little scrawnier and a bit more hungry. You check out One Piece for free bothe subbed and dubbed at streamop.com
