What's up everyone? How are you enjoying the new Dragonball Figures experience? Sorry I haven't been around much the past few days, I've been trying to get the most out of the last few days of summer we have left whilst still working my normal schedule at work. After this holiday weekend, it's back to work, tons of never before compiled checklists will be added, with alot of new information for your viewing pleasure.
With that said id like to ask... What are your favorite parts of the new site? Do you have any suggestions, or things you'd like to see added? Take this opportunity to let Bran and I know about them.
Other than that, I am very excited about our future here and I'm overwhelmed with how well our launch has gone. Everyone have a safe (dont drink and drive f*ckers!) and fun holiday weekend. Thank you all for making this hobby and new forum.... awesome.

No complaints, I like the site. I feel it's going really well. Like I said before you and bran put in a lot of work and it shows. I believe it was time to move on and everyone involved did a good job. If I could hi five you guys I would. But overall awesome job to everyone.

A lot more fun, organized, enjoyable, and awesome! As for something that could help the site(well me really), is the logout button. When I have the ipad vertically the touch sometimes registers on logout instead of recent posts. When I have it horizontally when I try to click on the tab to go back to the section I was(like SHF or intro for example) it registers to logout. If its possible, not much trouble, and have the time... Could you move it or something? Maybe shorten the first tab that says "Dragonball figures toys gashapons.... Db dbz dbgt?" Unless that's to help with search purposes like on google then I understand.

I follow most of what you're saying, but I can't visually see or reproduce the problem you're talking about with the logout button/recent posts since I don't have an iPad. I can definitely fix it, but I don't know how it looks for you. Concerning the last thing, that's all for search engines like you said. Once search engines have us and we have a good ranking, I do plan on shortening that (if I can just shorten that text right there w/o affecting the site title), as it definitely DOES compromise the breadcrumb navigation on tablets, larger phones in landscape view, and small computer monitors. Good eye. For that matter, I might be able to fix it sooner than that, but I can't today.

Yeah I'll get to that when I have the time, I got the pics but I wanna circle the stuff or something, and no problem I can wait lol. I've been dealing with it for a while now so it's no biggy(?).

So far the new forum has been excellent. I love the organisation. It is just so well laid out like with the separate sections for DB figures from different countries. An A+ from me so far. And I know it will only get better

I'm about to F shizzle up after a little experience right now lol. I tried replying to bran's comment on my random Q thread when he posted pics but I could seem to get to the end. It would move down a bit(halfway through the 2nd pic) and it would stop there. Couldn't scroll farther down the comment box. If I scroll outside of it, I could see the little line the blinks that shows ya where you're gonna type. I fixed that by deleting the pics, but now I couldn't get out of the quote box thing. Which eh... Didnt bother me much. I then went to posting a link, which would then lead me to deleting part of what I had written before. Even though the pop up comes out and the blinking thing that notifies you where you're gonna type is in the pop up, it still affected the post. Which I attempted 3 times and failed them all, leading me to saying WTF out loud lol. Not sure if its because I'm using ipad or not but that was quite an unpleasant experience!

It is definitely because you are using an iPad. Things that are incredibly easy on a pc are just so hard to do right on an iPad. Like as you said the cursor in the wrong position and not being able to scroll down with pics in the reply box. Also trying to select text. And it is so hard to try and add multiple quotes to a post. And don't get me started on when you go to correct spelling and it ends up replacing the word with what you had copied in the clipboard.

What brand is it? Also check the model number. I think you should be able to get a new charger if it isn't too old.

I have that same problem Gohan on my phone, the secret is to switch to BBCode view and from there you can type below a long quote.
There's really nothing I could do to make the Preview work differently for phone/tablet users, as the preview is basically made for desktops, but I did what I could to make it work for phones/tablets. So you just gotta click the BBCode tab that is underneath where you type your message in the Reply/Create Post box.
There's also nothing I can do to make typing on the forum better, as the app that controls your typing (in my case, Swype) is responsible for how it functions on websites. I have a lot of trouble using Swype and spacing appropriately when I'm on my phone. It might be a flaw in combination with the standard Android browser. I'll try it in Chrome...

If I'm typing a post in which I want pics or links or quotes I always use BBCode. I much prefer it in general to the quick reply.
