Hello! 1st time posting hehe. Been a recent collector of dbz hg. Saw some ginyu force figures that have their logo/emblem on their armor (chest print). Some figures have not. Does these mean some are legit and some are KOs/BLs? Difference

threeevils are you talking about the set with Nail in it? What price have you seen it at?

Branjita yeah for that set (part 23) I'm eyeing on Krillin, Gohan and Nail. Looking also into other sets for Frieza's aide/Ginyu force.

threeevils I might be willing to sell my set that includes Nail, Gohan in armor, and whomever else was in that set for a little less than what it sells for on ebay. I haven't displayed my DBZ HG figures in at least 6 years, so they've just been in a storage container in my closet. I'm not real thrilled with the idea of selling, but I might!

Branjita how much?? hehe. Are you willing to break up the set if ever? Might only need Gohan, Krillin and Nail from that one. But I'll add some figures from other sets if you have what I'm looking for

threeevils I'd need to research what it sells for. I'm not sure if I'd break up the set or not. I can't promise that I'll do this any time soon. I have a lot of other tasks to do when I'm not at work.

threeevils dragon ball HG is a great series to collect I have been collecting HG series for ~ a decade now started out with ebay. My 2 cents for hunting for the figures: you want is look at all sources out there. Sometimes random shops from taiwan/hongkong (with a shopify sites) might have something that you want cheaper than ebay. I've bought from a store called Lavits figures, pretty nervous buying from a shopify store located somewhere in asia but it turned out ok. Sometimes the figure(s) you want might be in a big lot sale at a reasonable price as it contains all sort of things (search ebay for generic terms like dragon ball lots). The best deals that I have seen are from yahoo japan auction. If you can't read japanese you can try buyee, the tricky part is order/bid/ship to abroad if you are not in japan. This can easily be solved if you happen to know someone in japan that can do you a favor, or maybe there are services that order items/bid for you for stuffs in yahoo japan auction. My other observation is that for all the time that I'm collecting HG figures, I have only seen the prices of these figures go up, especially the older figures (released in 2000s). A couple years ago i found a set i liked but thought it was somewhat expensive and not buying at the time, only ended up buying a few years later at an even higher price ! Have fun collecting!

trunkssword Thanks for the info! Yeah been eyeing a couple of sets on lavits I'm actually from Asia (Ph) but have a US address I visit every year or so. I use this address when buying from ebay. HG figures here in Ph cost like 4-6 USD on average, sometimes as low as 2 bucks, so I usually just buy here in fb groups/marketplace. Just have to be patient and lookout for deals. Also very limited scope so I try to get what's available. Been to Japan a couple of months but haven't seen any dbz hgs. Actually haven't started collecting when I was there but got addicted to gashapons when I went to Akihabara. Just started buying HGs when I got home lol wish I knew of them when I was there! I Will try japan yahoo auction sites Thanks for the advice!

threeevils That's great to hear! in terms of finding dragon ball HGs in japan, I am no expert (I've been to japan but very far from knowing `enough` about it) but in my opinion NipponBashi in Osaka might have even more figures/figurines/pokemon cards etc. (all kind of anime/manga stuffs) than akihabara so you may want to check that out too. In terms of dragon ball HGs, i believe a big parts of all HGs were released as Gashapon (the slot machines) a long time ago in 2000s so if you go to an anime shop, you might have better luck at smaller shops than bigger shops. They sell gashapon figurines in plastic bag and you may find some DB HGs there
