I would highly recommend the Goku model kit. It was a lot of fun putting together and has some great articulation. I may start Frieza tonight or wait until the weekend. I'm really looking forward to this line now.

I've got the Saiyan pod on pre-order. Hoping it lives up to the hype. Because screw $100+ for the old one. It's not THAT well constructed!

Had the Saiyan pod as a kid and it embarrassed the hell out of me. The sound effect was annoying and was easily triggered. Cheap feeling to it overall not sure why I see them going for big money now they're a joke. |

I put Final Form Frieza together last night. A lot of fun like Goku, little more challenging. Great articulation. Works really well for a 100% Final Form Frieza.

If anybody is interested in seeing updated product photos of Super Saiyan 2 Gohan, Perfect Cell, Super Saiyan 3 Goku, Kid Buu, and Saiyan Pod....
hobby.dengeki.com/news/243260/Gohan looks shredded. Kid Buu comes with so many effect pieces, I think he's got one even for the tail on his head.  angelo2113 do you have pics of FRS Frieza? Comparison with SHF Frieza if possible or some other DBZ figuarts. |

Well that Kid Buu is just...whoa.
The SSJ3 looks pretty good. Could definitely see a Figuarts 2.0 resemble something like that but more polished of course. Gohan looks kinda plain and has too many folds everywhere. Cell looks decent but that face is kinda scary looking.

Kid Buu looks good. I can see a lot of possible similarities for a S.H. Figuarts version in the future.
Goku's body mold is really good. The chest sculpt is good. His neck is thicker which I think looks great. The added torso articulation allows for more dynamic posing at times. The knee articulation is nicely done, similar to Broly's. The only problem is it's too tall but I don't really mind that. I have a mix of a lot of scales in my displays.
For some reason, somebody paint washed Gohan's gi. I understand they were trying to go for more shading and detail but I'm not a fan of it. Is there a reason Gohan is wearing socks all the time in these designs? I've seen either his socks or legs always being white and it doesn't make sense to me.

FRS Goku has got a good built to it but instead of the glossy shiny paint, they should have gone with the promo pic paint work. The glossy paint makes it look a little cheap. I don't have the figure in hand but from what I've seen, it does not look as good as it did earlier.
Socks! hahaha
