I appreciate figure-rise a lot. I can get some nice displays of SS2 Gohan and SS2 Vegeta now with these new effects. Also I have a liking for the effect pieces included with characters such as Frieza and Kid Buu. Figure-rise will make a great addition to my collection while also being able to assimilate alongside of my figuarts. Once November approaches I'm going to most likely pre-order Buu and the aura effect.

I'm really digging the energy and lightning effects. I ordered a few since they were only around $7 each.

I really want that Trunks' time machine for my SH figuarts collection... I don't feel like spending lots of money on a Taki or Irwin, since they're kinda rare.

I found this photo on Facebook of Figure-rise Standard Perfect Cell and Super Saiyan 2 Gohan. Gohan isn't that much bigger than the S.H. Figuarts as I thought it was going to be which I'm really excited about. Perfect Cell looks tall and I like that a lot.

Here is a YouTube review by DiegoKu Z. It shows a comparison between S.H. Figuarts Broly, Goku, and Gohan.

These honestly look like crap. Half of them are just cheap SHFiguarts molds

They may have gone a little overboard with Mr. Satan's head size...

Same goes for Roshi.
These releases confuses me. Why would they start another articulated line to give Figuarts competition? Why give these makers permission when figuarts is already doing so well. Why not just boost the figuarts releases with characters like Hercules and Roshi or maybe even more. I see a SS4 in them which means they are again competing with figuarts and does this mean that figuarts will release these surprise characters too? If this is just done cause these figures are more affordable then it's fine but then that would mean that people are indeed struggling to purchase figuarts which means that the accessories won't come in full swing next year or even if they do come then not many will be purchasing them due to the obvious increase in price which would put Tamashii in trouble.
I still feel these model kits should have been released in scale with figuarts, they would have sold much better even though i see many in here not liking this line. It's hard to ignore a figure when it's the only decent and afforable priced one in the market with chances that it may never get a release in any other line/brand.

Even though both lines are bandai, they're still completely different brands. Tbh these can't really compete with Figuarts. Yes, they have similar sculpts but they're not really the same scale and are obviously lacking in pretty much every aspect except for price. They are model kits though, so it's obvious they'd be cheaper.
If anything it gives Tamashii more reason to make these characters since now collectors have at least some type of alternative since they are at he very least somewhat comparable with Figuarts. I can't really see any harm being done with this line.

A lot of good things coming from this line. Figure-rise standard and mechanics are the two lines that are actually making characters and machines that I wanted to add to my collection for awhile. Hyped.

The Frieza in his chair is kind of cool, it's a shame it isn't 5 inch scale. If it was, it would take less work to customize into looking like a great display piece than anything else. I don't like the model kit look of these overall (and yeah, I know they are model kits). The Android 18 looks great! The Mr. Satan and Master Roshi need to be thrown in the trash, I absolutely hate them both, especially Mr. Satan. It's repulsive.
