Since there's no general merchandise section, I decided to post this here. What's some outrageous pricing for DB merchandise that you've seen? No joke, I saw a single pack of Japanese cards for over $1,000,000 USD on Amazon. I was like, "Who the f*** are you trying to sell that to???"

Well, there was that time we saw a bootleg of the proovy father son Kamehameha on ebay being sold at the original's full price (or more, I can't remember.) It was so obviously a bootleg that I messaged the seller, and he denied it. I hope some poor sap didn't actually buy it.

During the initial hype of the SH Figuarts "Mexican Goku" people were trying to sell the figure for close to $1,000. crap was hilarious. Everyone denied the figure would ever drop in value, one year later the figure is worth about half as much on a good day.

Dude what's with the idiots on eBay lately I messaged someone selling a dbz figure listed as Nappa even though it wasn't I gave them a heads up and told them it was spopovich and they freaked the hell out! Also the dumb fuxxx trying to get over $300 for a omega shenrons in crappy incomplete condition they are worth like $65-$85 in that condition lmao I hate people. Someone in Japan was trying to sell a little $1 gashapon for $1,000,000 USD. But there was the same figure up for $5 from several other sellers hahaha

Honestly, some of the MSP figures I've seen at Conventions have been massively overpriced. Was looking for the new color Goku and the cheapest anyone would go was $40...even though I could order the figure from Amazon for around $20-$30 at the time.

There's an "anime" store in my hometown of Orlando, called Kingz Anime. They sell nothing but counterfeit figures and they're all priced well above the MSRP of the authentic versions of each figure. They also have a crappy return policy that doesnt allow you to get your money back, you can only exchange for store credit. The return policy in and of itself is pretty indicative of them knowing they sell garbage.
Their store easily sold the most over priced merchandise I've ever seen in my life. I'm talking Master Stars Piece figures priced at $30 or more above the authentic counterparts MSRP..
