Considering the seller clearly stated, "100% real and authentic no bootlegs.i will refund if you smell bootleg.serious about dbz bro.original box with stamp as well.just took out for pics" why would it be a bootleg?

Not the best pics to figure out (in fact, they suck lol) but it looks like the original statue to me. No visible seams or messed up painting.

Because people say anything. Well yeah, but I can't see a seller saying that if it was a bootleg. That allows you to easily get a refund.

He could just be ignorant and not know the difference between the bootleg. It's nice that I can be refunded if it is indeed a bootleg, but I would rather not go through the hassle.

I actually did spot this exact listing on eBay a couple weeks ago, and even though I already own it, I decided to snoop just to see what was up.
It does look like the legit piece to me. I owned the fake piece in the past, and I honestly don't think this guy is lying. Everything points to the real deal.
The two biggest things I noticed on the bootleg is the ki swirls under the feet and the coloration of the figure. On the fake, the ki swirls are very cloudy and dull, while on the real piece, the ki swirls are shiny and mostly clear.
On the fake, the figure's coloration looks muddy as opposed shaded like the real one. Unlike the real piece, Goku's shirt on the bootleg had no shading at all, and was very dark. You can see shading and highlights on Goku's shirt in the pics the seller provided.
However, imo, the most noticeable difference between the two is in the hair. The hair on the bootleg is simply given a shiny finish, while the real piece has a reflective paint job with a hint of metallic gold. Even though the picture quality is garbage, you can see the metallic highlights in Goku's hair in the pics.
Also the molding is less than perfect on the bootleg. There are noticeable spaces between the pieces that form his hair, and on the little parts in his pants.
....So in short, I would trust this guy. It's the real deal.
