Do you have the Guyver 2 DVD? I guess the only "rare" dvd I have is the Cooler's Revenge/Return of Cooler steelbook or the Chuck E' Cheese in the Galaxy 5000 DVD.

LOL chuck e is probably but i dont think cooler is rare I was going by what it was going for about a year ago. For a while people on both ebay and amazon were selling the steelbook set for like $50-$75 and few suckers fell for it, I got mine at a Movie Stop for $10. Now that I've gone back and checked I see the price has come down to a somewhat more reasonable price.

I have a pretty large DVD collection so I'm sure somewhere in there are a few rarities. Would Urotsukidoji: Legend of the Overfiend/Demon Womb be classed as a rare or obscure DVD?

I also just bought the Australian version of the Neon Genesis Evangelion Plantium Collection box set which has been out of print for a few years now. Unlike the US version it comes with the extras included. Can't wait to watch this series again.

The rotten mongrels that I bought the Neon Genesis box set off of now say they have none in stock. Very pissed right now. They want me to cancel the eBay transaction but haven't refunded me yet so at the moment they can kiss my ass.

Obscure I understand, but what constitutes a "rare" DVD? The type that were only released in limited quantities. Versions which may have contained something that no other release has/had. Stuff that was only released once and never was again. etc.

pretty much, try finding Toy Warrior for sale for example. single release and limited quantity (most were kinda in some storage locker and liquidated to $arama at one point)
Photon Idiot adventure is fairly uncommon on DVD but there have been a few floating on ebay as of late (i missed one for $4 and am a little pissed about that lol)
then there are mainstream series that have dvds that are a pain to find, i dont think DBZ has any of such but i know Tenchi Muyo and Ranma are a pain to find certain dvds (usually the OVAs)
even some Disney movies are rare but usually the odd ones like "the computer wears tennis shoes" and others from their early live action line
