Lol, I think the whole issue of male gaze and patriarchy is what some people have a problem with those sexy anime girl figures.  But, buy what you want and enjoy it. It all depends on you, if you like it and you won't be embarrassed to have it on your shelf more power to you. It's not one of those nude figurines, anyways. |

Maul seems pretty good, but the arms are a big disappointment to me. The big, obvious balls in the shoulder and elbow really kill the look of him. Especially, when Figuarts have been so good at hiding and blending the joints in to the overall design of the figures. The Luke right next to him is a great comparison.

The pic doesn't have the best view but here's the Figuarts Darth Maul. I don't have any figuarts so I don't know how durable they are, but seeing these on a Z forum takes me back. My brother and I used to play DBZ vs Star Wars with our action figures when we were kids (set in a LEGO town, of course) and these would have been pretty great back then. Anyway, I just felt the need to throw that out there. Resume discussion  |

So now the other characters we left to wait on - Han Solo, Luke in farmer outfit, Scout trooper with speeder, Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon. Who you guys think will come next after? I'd love to get the Scout trooper or other troopers variations from them personally. |
