Figuarts Fire Mario? This is getting ridiculous (in the best way possible). IMO 2015 has been the best time to be a Figuarts collector.

Figuarts Fire Mario? This is getting ridiculous (in the best way possible). IMO 2015 has been the best time to be a Figuarts collector. Figuarts Fire Mario is a "given"  It's a simple repaint. Same goes with Fire Luigi and if you want to stretch into some of the newer Mario games, even Ice Mario/Luigi. I'm sure I might be missing some other easy repaints...Star Mario...Rainbow Star Mario (in the newer games). You can toss a cape in to get Cape Mario from Super Mario World. I'm sure if they continue the Mario variations, we'll get Raccoon and/or Tanooki Mario. Probably the most popular Mario variation after Fire Mario. |

I imagine a lot of people are waiting for a Princess Peach or some other essential character and seeing a Mario with a recolored outfit must have been a buzzkill. I might be fine with a Tanooki Mario but I'd much rather see what else they could come up with. |

I hope they're selling well too! They released A LOT of Mario and Luigi figures and I'd like to see the Nintendo line continue. I'd love it if they'd go after some of the other Nintendo first-party franchises like F-Zero and give us a Captain Falcon.
Between Figuarts, the old D-Arts, Figma and the (crappier) Jakks 'World of Nintendo' line you can start building a Smash Bros. cast.

I'm at a point where I'm hoping to see Figuarts versions of Nintendo characters (including Link). I had hoped Figma would continue with Nintendo releases but they unfortunately haven't.
