The difficulty all depends on the sculpt really. I'd be willing to help with this if you actually pursue the project.

i just popped his arm off and its a complete unique trunks. The trunks in bojack unbound is a bit taller and more muscular. Ive wanted to create this version for a while but i cant seem to have the guts to customize something worth from 120-160$ lol and i got a spare one.

It will be a personal addition to my collection, I never keep my custom figures but if I can make that version of trunks I will be keeping it. Can you send me a picture if it's okay, picture of trunks with vegeta or gokus arm attach.

PGV BranjitaI am working on an animation film, I have some characters that I would like to try and make an action figure for them in the future first to myself, to have a 3D look on them and for fun. if it will be successful maybe to sell few. right now I only know how to make clay figures and use parts of existing action figures [most of us don't have huge toy mahchines ] so I want to make a few prototypes and I went through all this story to ask, where the * can you find an empty toy covers? with helf cardboard and helf thick transparent plastic and a hook (when you come to think of it almost every action figure comes like that) I just couldn't find them to buy alone! help

About the plastic transparent part I just saved most of the ones from the figures I bought in the past... While for the paper I usually print them and attach them with vinilic glue to cardboard Examples Since I'll be soon in lack of plastic I'm going to reproduce this type of box: It is cool looking and mostly cardboard. The transparent front part could be obtained from many this you buy potentially often ( newspaper kiosk cheap items, different food boxes, or even transparent foils that are not hard like the ones you can find into the stationery shop ). This is an example of a box obtained from a x-mas chocolate figurine of a king magus:

Trunks is a very small figure, Vegeta's arms might look out of place on him. I'd recommend going for skinnier, shorter arms from Figmas or other S.H.Figuarts.

I finally got my trunks and this figure is so expensive I am scared to even try and remove any joints. I might have to start from scratch using datong vegeta with SS goku head. I will have to sculpt from top to bottom. Once i get a hand of datong vegeta and ss goku I will start the customization. One more question, I am not familiar to any other dbz line out there (all I know is figuarts), but is there any trunks figure that are in same scale with datong vegeta? I am thinking to just use the jacket and maybe boots from that figure if there is any trunks out there that is on scale with datong vegeta. I want to save my time from sculpting as much as possible.
Thanks again guys!

Lol i told you once you spend the money or know the worth of the figure you think twice about it lol. it feels less rare even though its a unique custom.

I got these Tashigi and Zessica figures for fairly cheap, and was going to sell the extra 4 I bought, but I think I want to try my hand at swapping their heads for 18 and Bulma. I don't even know these characters, I just liked the figures. Here's what they look like Tashigi: i.imgur.com/59DOdGg.jpgZessica: i.imgur.com/l7BjayY.jpgI took a pic with those figures, and some bootleg DWC right next to each other, then photoshopped the heads onto their bodies to get an idea of how they should look. Tashigi with 18's head, and with Chi Chi's head, although I don't intend to make Chi Chi, I just wanted to see how it would look. And Zessica with Bulma's head. I'm no painter, so I'm hoping the skin tones will match up enough that it won't matter. I don't want to use my bootleg DWCs, so I was wondering if any one else had an 18 or Bulma they would want to sell, or just the head? If not, does anyone know of a cheap set that contains 18 or Bulma on eBay or where ever? Also, any tips about how to get their heads off since there's no articulation. Just cut with a razor knife? I won't actually start on one until I have the DWC head to use, though. And even then, it might be a sh!t effort, lol.

In Sadpanda's custom topic, I posted links to all of the DWC bootleg sets I was able to find a few days ago, go check that out I either put the DWC in some freshly boiled water and pull the head off or just cut the head off.
