Looks like the Chi Chi and Bulma head will match skin tones pretty well, but 18 will require some painting. The protos look, uhh, nice.  |

That set with android 18 sold out a few years ago. I bought the last set I ever saw on eBay about a year ago, and had to pay a bit more for it. I'll have to figure out if I need 18 or not. if I don't, I could sell her to you.

Okay, that sounds cool. If not, I'll end up buying the set with Bulma and Chi Chi and just turn Tashigi into Chi Chi.

I've used the Android 18 head before for a custom, and it's annoying as heck trying to get it to work. Lots of cutting and drilling. I'm looking for DWC 18 as well, but just to have, using it for customs isn't exactly a cup of tea.

ive got a few doubles of figures now and I want to sort some things that bug me...
at the moment its eyes!!
I just got another goku, ss goku, krillin and bootleg vegeta, so....
I have already coloured in krillins eyes with an ink pen (not perfect but couldn't be bothered with paint) and now I am looking to make goku and vegeta look angry staring FORWARD not frakking SIDEWAYS!!!! and also to remove the lines under ss gokus eyes like the sdcc version...
I intend to remove the original paint, then maybe paint white then add the pupils after - so any suggestions how to remove the og paint or another way to do it??? |

I use a dremel tool with metal brush on low speed but you have to be careful not to press too hard. Before that I would painstakingly hand sand everything with medium and fine grit sandpaper, really taxing on the hand and time consuming the latter way.

I don't recommend using ink/pen, because it can fade... it can smear... and overall just cause major problems.

ok thanks.... I only used the ink pen on krillin eyes as I was itching to just get an anime krillin head ASAP!!! its not perfect but does the job in person... if it fades or anything i'll either retouch it or just paint it when I can be bothered to mix the exact skin tone to match...oh also I filled in his monk dots to make them stand out more. its the little details that count!  damn that reminds me about the blue stripes on his boots!!!!!!!!!! You have a skin colored pen? yeah - I have lots of pens they are a poor mans copic marker (illustration marker pens) called letraset, they can supposedly even write on glass, (but don't quote me on that)... there are many different shade variations and I just tried to use the best one I have... heres a pic of gritted teeth krillins head - slightly different tone than before, but still works from afar in person...
