Thanks for making this! gokubr if you have time, can you please make one of these threads for Captain Ginyu? I don't believe one exists. There might be others that are missing, but I was looking for that one yesterday, and I don't think there is one. |

HI all, not been around here for 5 years as i had to bail from collecting SHF DBZ and customising, far too pricey for me and zero shelf space! also what made me give up was my disapointment in bandai's accuracy. anyway apart from the disapointing Tien figure this is the first figure ive bought for a while and was i impressed? no.
actually to some degree yes, the body, long hair sculpt and faces are great but.......
dont get me wrong if anyone cares to look at my old custom thread i did a version of kid gohan from the android saga which compared to the body of this is vastly inferior... BUT at least his head was to scale. and that is my biggest complaint of this figure - the size of the head. so much so i have had to dig out my old password to here and just vent my disgust for bandai. Are they morons? do they have eyes? The size of gohans head is ridiculous , its like it belongs in the dragonball line or its an sd / chibi figure.
Gohans head should be the same size as the adults, so why has he got gigantism of the head? why have i waited 25 years for a decent gohan figure and paid all this money for a stupidly scaled head? the super battle collection one looks absolute crap nowadays but at least his head was in scale. i hope other people make bandai aware of this and that bandai takes note and they correct this when doing android saga gohan - which they better do, so we can all finally recreate the opening credits shot from Z properly. my apologies to people who like the figure but i cant see past his BIG head (figuratively and literally speaking because its so freakin BIG). end of rant.  |

Branjita , good to know i share some of the hatred for this figures head with someone else...
thanks for the tip on that other figure but i think im going to try and sell this one and wait for aNdroid saga gohan to come out which HOPEFULLY will happen, and if it does will at least be a premium release and not a ridiculous sdcc exclusive that scalpers are asking like $200 + for

Adz Considering Android saga Gohan did basically nothing during that saga (like Chaozu), perhaps they will make a small Gohan (that scales properly) and include him with another character similar to how they are including a Chaozu (that scales properly) with the Cell Saga Tien.

Branjita id say he was on par with Yamcha for usefullness in that saga lol but to be honest i dont care how they would release it, as long as they do the figure correctly!! grrrrr Bandai
