Why does that Yamcha have a clear base?

Why does that Yamcha have a clear base? Those are custom acrylic bases.

I'm trying to decide between that Bulma and the Pichi Pichi Gal one.

The pichi has better Bulma proportions I think, but this one is probably better.

The pichy is less common and would cost more as well.

I like the pichi gal better because its part of a collection. I would like to own the entire pichi gal line some time in the future, so having her instead of the Scultures one would be better.

I've had my eye on the Pichi one for a while. The lowest I've seen it for is $40ish shipped. I really want the Pichi Chi Chi the most though so I might get the SC Bulma for now and save some money.

Both are very high end great looking pieces no doubt it. Personally I feel like the Sculture has higher level of detailing, folding in the fabric of the clothing, minor touches like Plasters, writing and symbols, etc. Overall quality seem higher on the Sculture Imo. (and also given it's a more recent production) The Scultures are generally in the price range of 1000-1500 Yen sealed when they come to the market in jp. The Pichi gal seem to deamend a price tag of about, around 2500-4500 Yen sealed I think. Of course It is a bit less common as well. (2007 release) Here are some photos to compare, Keep in mind that the Scultures photos are mostly from a toy exibit so the lighting and general quality of the pics might not be the same. The details on the SC's clothing are fantastic. The SC also looks more youthful and adventurous whereas the Pichi looks refined and statuesque (probably the legs are ridiculously long and go on for what seems like forever). I like them both for different reasons
