Toyfair 2004 pics and info

Aaah the memories!

I still remember that, in early autumn 2004, we went to our local Kmart and I saw a lot of DB Jakks Pacific figures. My excitement grew bigger when I saw some Ginyu Force members (Cuz Namek/Frieza Saga it's my DBZ favorite one and, during that months, our local channel repeated a lot that saga).

At first I decided to grab Recoome (Series 17) and Super Saiyan Goku with an orange spinning item (Series 16), cuz that battle it's one of my favorite moments from that saga, but then I saw Captain Ginyu and Burter with a blue spinning item (Both from Series 17) and I wanted all four, but since they would be my birthday gifts and we're also going to buy another ones to my brother, I only had to choose two...that's when I started to doubt a little bit, because I wanted a Goku and one Ginyu Force member. Finally I chose Recoome and Super Saiyan Goku, and we brought to my brother a SSJ 3 Kid Goku (The GT one with spinning energy blast) and a 3-Pack Chibis tube with Fat Boo, Super Saiyan Vegetto and SSJ 3 Goku.

If I'm not wrong, I remember that Recoome cost around $7.99. Currently I have that SSJ 3 Kid Goku (Without the spinning item), the SSJ Vegetto chibi (We don't longer have the others), and the Recoome figure (I lost the scouter). Sadly, I lost my SSJ Goku figure in 2005 before arriving to my school.

The curious thing is that our local Kmart was still selling the DB Jakks Pacific figures after 2004. I remember to get a Frieza mini figure (From Ultimate Figure Series 03, the one with the original colors) and on another occasion we were close to buying a Cyborg Frieza figure (From the Transformation set, the one which have a card), but we couldn't buy it. Both cases occured approximately in 2006-2007.
