Hey guys. So what do you guys think of the two Avatar series The last Airbender and The legend of Korra? And do you collect any figures from the ATLA (last airbender) toys. I know you can't be collecting Korra figures as there aren't any out there..  But if there were would you collect them? |

I'm indifferent towards TLA and TLOK. It never really caught my interest.

I'd say Avatar was past my time which seems to be a problem with a lot of the newer anime shows.

You guys really should give it a try. both are great shows the ATLA's action figures were.... Not my cup of tea..and on top of that they never issued any of the female figures and that a big bummer as the girls are awesome in the show. Toph is a great character. The reason Mattel gave for that was that boys won't collect girl figures...(wtf??) And TLOK don't have figures at all.. I guess for that reason also.. I wish they had figures on a figuarts/play arts/revoltech level the potential is endless, and they will look so cool!!! I'll buy them for sure!!  |

I find the Korra show uninteresting for casual watching. I only turn to Avatar when it is on and I need background distraction while customizing and I find the Korra version, well, not interesting.

I really liked The last Airbender series. i only watched about 2 episodes of the new series. i haven't given it much of a chance yet, but i think i will watch the rest of it at some point.
As for figures, i'm not sure.. are there any high quality figures made?

Well you should check it out its awesome, both series are very well made the animation is great, and the plot is very very well made. As for figures, there are only the last air bender series and mostly repaints of Aang and Zuko.. None of the girls in the show were ever made.. The movie was awful it was suposs to be a trilogy but M. Crap Shamalan did such a crapy job on it so it failed miserably and the next two were cancelled lol.. The figures from the movie were better than the series lines, but still pretty crappy. All done by Mattel. |

I actually liked the movie a lot lol, but maybe that's because I am not a passionate fan of the show.

I've only seen the movie and it was good but yeah I don't know how it would stand against the series.

The movie was a piece of crap... The characters are done so badly.. The effects are not as good as they should. The story does follow the storyline of the show but it's a piece of crap...not as bad as DBE but still pretty bad;)
