It was the easiest and cheapest way I found to catch up on the stuff I missed

Cheap and easy, can't go wrong with that, I have a lot of bat story/nightwing trades, and I know you don't like the new 52, but the red hood and the outlaws trade is damn good.

I think the only trades I will get from the New 52 will be Batman Inc by Grant Morrison to finish his run on the Bat titles seeing as there wasn't much changed for that book after the reboot. Plus I have to see Damian's story play out in full.

But they made Starfire a slut! I'm glad you enjoyed it though. Unfortunately, I didn't like it. I'm a big fan of the Marv Wolfman New Teen Titans stuff, and it was heartbreaking for me to see what was done to her character.

Yeah she was, I liked how they elaborated on each character story but I found hers a bit boring

I honestly only enjoyed it because I'm a huge jason todd fan, red hood still being portrayed as an anti-hero yet slowly making his way back to the bat family, to me he's what nightwing would be if he were more ruthless, not to mention his character design is effin awesome, that could be just the fanboy talking though lol

It fills voids. Every new character I make or get occupies a special place in life.

When I was younger I used to love going into the city every Sunday to my favourite comic shop to collect my next batch of books from my box. I really miss that but with the price of parking now (it used to be $5 all day on Sundays back in the day) it is cheaper to just order them online. Another thing I love about ordering online now is I have been able to fill gaps in my collection that I never would have been able to back then. I took a bit of a break from comic collecting at the start of 2000 when I went back to college but got back into it over the past few years but pretty much exclusively in trade form this time. Yeah man, trades are a great way to follow things and it's cool how you can put them on your book shelf too. I follow a couple of titles that way but I pretty much like the floppies. It's good to hear that the online meathod works well for you, I've considered it several times to save money and everything but never pulled the trigger. I loved the final 13 issues of Batman Inc. from the New 52. The concluding issue was really satisfying for me, bringing things full circle and making a strong statement about the Batman concept.

Will I had figures when I was younger mostly Irwin and then when I joined the old site years ago my collection grew like crazy. Then I sold it a few years back. Now I'm back but now when I buy I always look to see if I can make money if I decided to resell. But collecting is fun.

I'm a Jason fan too. I think he's awesome and I even liked him when he was Robin. I highly reccomend Batman The Cult, if you haven't read it. He really helped Bruce out in a lot of situations, and I never got the hate he recieved. He's what keeps me reading as well. I hated what Batman did to him in the Batman and Redhood issue, if you read it, but glad to see Jason be the better man. I felt so sorry for him, especially with the memory wipe. I think it's cool what he's doing with the League of Assassin's now. I don't like that Red Arrow is written as a super technological genius though. I think it is amazing how Jason Todd went from being so hated by the readers that they wanted him dead to being one of the more popular parts of the Bat family as Red Hood. Isn't funny what a great written story (Under the Hood) can do for a characters popularity. Will I had figures when I was younger mostly Irwin and then when I joined the old site years ago my collection grew like crazy. Then I sold it a few years back. Now I'm back but now when I buy I always look to see if I can make money if I decided to resell. But collecting is fun. You need to just enjoy your collecting without worrying about resale values. I buy stuff now just because I like it and never worry about how much I could get for the figures later on

I think it was just one giant middle finger from Mattel that they gave us superhero Red Hood instead of the biker version. Grrrr Mattel

I almost always take a loss when I sell on. Then again it is always hard to make my money back when most items I buy have high international postage costs to deal with.

I think it was just one giant middle finger from Mattel that they gave us superhero Red Hood instead of the biker version. Grrrr Mattel Yep! It's a real bummer that we're getting the green suit Doomsday next year instead of the unleashed look. It's surprisingly only $35. Superboy, Aquaman, and Damian are coming for $20, I think. I wish they weren't so expensive with shipping. I skipped out on Wally because of it. It would be great to have the Morrison JLA. Well hopefully they will release those figures but they haven't said what they are going to do yet with Doomsday since the 2014 subscription isn't going ahead now. With the JLA I'm just glad we have a complete classic silver age line up.
