nice one man. nvr seen a custom of him in that outfit. and by the looks of it, he's being a lil brat, not wanting to give goku his energy.

Super Saiyan God Goku for BrowndynomiteDifficulty: 3/10 How to make: To make this, I started with a Goku figure that BrownDynomite provided that already had the best head on it to start the custom. It had the hands that look like they are crippled with arthritis and no sculpted wrist bands. So what I did was cut the hands off, sculpt wrist bands, and then carefully drill the hole in the forearms so I could insert new hands (from my Jakks Broly) into the holes after boiling which resulted in having articulated wrists. Mission successful, and I even managed to match the dry brushed appearance that Jakks painted the blue parts with, though, as obvious in one of the pictures, turning the hands does remove some of the blue paint. I could go back and make it so that doesn't happen by removing the hands, repainting, gluing, drying, reinserting the hands, and then probably having to repaint bits and pieces again, but it'd another two hours of lame-labor just for some areas that don't show unless you turn the wrists a lot. If Brown wants it done and wants to pay me a bit more, I'll do it, but I don't think it is probably worthwhile unless he wants it perfect. Kind of an ordeal striving for perfection like that. Anyway, the biggest deal was removing the bang that is part of Goku's forehead. I did an even better job of it on Brown's SSG Goku than I did on my personal SSG Goku. You can't even tell a bang was ever part of his forehead at all. It isn't like it was a separate piece, it was literally his forehead lol, so shaving it off without needing to use Apoxie and paint to smooth or fill the area is a huge accomplishment and pretty tricky task! Anyway, I sculpted the hair additions and changes, sanded it smooth, and it turned out a lot better than the hair I made for my SSG. Why? Because I used Apoxie Clay for most of the strands on his and only Apoxie Sculpt for mine. Clay naturally stays more rounded than Sculpt which tends to end up with edges since it is more squishy. I did use Sculpt on his for one bang and to fill the crevices I couldn't fill with Clay. There's a ton of pearl additive in the paint on his, so it really sparkles well. Overall, I think this figure turned out a lot better than the one I made myself. I didn't have any problems getting the Goku symbols on the shirt either, which is a plus, though I didn't have one big enough to fill his back very well. Still looks great. I also repainted the boot laces dark red. They look a bit thick, but I just wanted to cover the yellow laces exactly as Jakks had painted them, and so that's what I did. I also touched up the edges of the boots with red and then cleared all of my paint work. There's a couple of red marks on the blue, but those are Jakks' paint, not mine. I didn't want to repaint the blue on the boots just because of minor factory errors. Let me know what you think! i975.photobucket.com/albums/ae234/Brangeta/IMG_5402.jpgi975.photobucket.com/albums/ae234/Brangeta/IMG_5403.jpgi975.photobucket.com/albums/ae234/Brangeta/IMG_5404.jpgi975.photobucket.com/albums/ae234/Brangeta/IMG_5405.jpgi975.photobucket.com/albums/ae234/Brangeta/IMG_5406.jpgi975.photobucket.com/albums/ae234/Brangeta/IMG_5407.jpgi975.photobucket.com/albums/ae234/Brangeta/IMG_5408.jpgi975.photobucket.com/albums/ae234/Brangeta/IMG_5409.jpgi975.photobucket.com/albums/ae234/Brangeta/IMG_5410.jpgi975.photobucket.com/albums/ae234/Brangeta/IMG_5414.jpgi975.photobucket.com/albums/ae234/Brangeta/IMG_5411.jpg

Really cool bran! When you gonna make me one lol jk but still what an awesome job you did the hair is an improvement from the original both paint and sculpt but I still like the body from the old one because it captures the lean body that ssg is supposed to have.

Awesome job. You really nailed it on matching that blue paint. The body is definitely better on this one because the symbol is placed correctly lol, but I still like the head/face on your first one. I give it a 9/10.

The one on the right looks much better imho. Next time you're sculpting hair, try slicing the sculpy/clay with a sharp razor blade to get a clean crisp edge. If you need to smooth it wet the clay and smooth with the flat section of the blade. That way you won't get that waavy bubble gum effect. If you'd done that it would have been a flawless custom.

He already does that.
