Thanks, he's one of my favorites, if not my favorite. I wish I could customize right now, but my surgery on the 20th prevents me from sitting for at least another week. Sucks because I can't work, thus cannot earn any money.

King FurryDifficulty: 2/10 How to make: Use a Popy mini big head King Furry head, and a Commander Red body. Fill in the enormous hole removing his head leaves, then sculpt a shirt and tie. You'll need to cut part of the existing suit to fit his mustache. Because of his mustache, I didn't articulate his head, as it wouldn't work without modifying the mustache. You have to add some apoxie to the bottom of the heels as the Commander Red body cannot stand on its own, so I did that and then resculpted the shoes a little bit, mostly on the back side. I've had it so long and have been working on it so long that I don't even remember what all has happened to it. I believe DG originally sent me it to just head swap it and make the head fit tightly. Well, I had a super glue disaster when a drop of water came out of the head from washing or boiling the head, and it caused a big white glob of super glue on the hair, check, neck, and ear. So I had to sand that off. Then I had to repaint the hair, so I did that. Tons of coats later, I still had the white glob of superglue underneath the head looking bad, so I was going to use the hair dryer, heat the head up, and remove it from the peg so I could sand the glue off and start over. So I was doing that and when I pulled the head off, the peg broke in half, one part stuck in the head, one part stuck in the neck, neither of which I could pull out. So I just said screw it, and decided to finish painting everything and worry about it later. Well, so I finished the paint job last night and successfully drilled out the broken pegs, but now I discovered that due to my neck repair and all of the layers of paint, the head no longer fit the neck! So I had to use my largest drill bit (not big enough though) to try to enlarge the hole in the head to go around the neck. Then I used the new electric manicure tool I bought myself for Christmas, and after doing that, I finally had it sanded enough to get the head on the neck! I made it a peg and got that in there, finished that up, posted my WIP pic last night and went to bed. I decided the eyeliner being brown was too dark, so I repainted that today as well as the eyes, and then later started applying clear and bad luck strikes again, I got too much clear on the forehead and I tried to remove it, and the brush stuck to the clear and pulled off the fleshtone! So I had to repaint it this afternoon and apply more clear. Kind of a ridiculous amount of work to do something that SHOULD have been an easy custom, but... I think the pictures speak for themselves... this turned out being a much better figure than what DG originally wanted it to be. Before and After (as more bad luck, my Photoshop crashed as I was blending the head of the "before" into the background, so the head is on too low. Too bad, I'm not redoing it! As I figured, these look great! The paint jobs on both are swell and incredibly detailed. The Gohan definitely looks better than just a head swap would've been.

That King Furry turned out great! The re-sculpting around his chest and neck looks nice and clean. But oh man, that Gohan just looks fantastic! The paint work around his eyes combined with the great shading in the wrinkles of his face, the sculpt of his mouth, and the fantastic skin tone on his head and neck really make him look superb. He just looks positively distraught. Awesome work.

that gohan and king flurry is awesome! i made a similar gohan but i used the irwin vegeta and irwin gohan instead.

Great work. King F is perfect. I like Gohan too. He looks so much better and healthier. The detail on his face is incredible. Only thing I see is that the baseline of his eyes seem a little droopy, as oppose to being straight, but that's Jakks fault!
